PENSAMIENTO DEL DÍA – 22 DE DICIEMBRE 2011


Existen dos formas de Amor. Una les vincula a Dios y la otra les ata al mundo. La mente es responsable de ambos estados. Es como un candado. Si giran la llave hacia la derecha, el candado se abre. Si la giran hacia la izquierda, se cierra. El corazón es la llave para el candado de la mente. Si giran la llave hacia el mundo, tendrán el apego (servidumbre). Deben velar por que el deseo y el odio no se alojen en la mente. No le tengan mala voluntad a nadie. Eviten la compañía de quienes tengan mentes perversas. Gracias a la buena compañía, se diluyen sus malas cualidades, como las aguas de alcantarilla que fluyen hacia el mar. Con eso se podrán elevar. La devoción implica renunciar a todos los demás deseos y dedicale todos los pensamientos y acciones a Dios.

There are two forms of Love. One binds you to God and the other binds you to the world. The mind is responsible for either of these states. It is like a lock. If you turn the key to the right, the lock opens; If you turn it to the left, it gets locked. The heart is the key to the lock of the mind. If you turn the key towards the world, you have attachment (bondage). You must see that desire and hatred do not get lodged in the mind. Bear no ill-will towards anyone. Avoid the company of those who are evil-minded. Through good company, your bad qualities get diluted, like sewage water that enters the sea. You can thereby raise yourself. Devotion means giving up all other desires and dedicating all actions and thoughts to God.
