PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 7 DE JULIO 2011

Otrora, incluso antes de impartirle conocimiento a sus díscípulos, el Guru (preceptor) solía asignarles diferentes tareas que habían de llevar a cabo en su ermita. Esto obedecía a un propósito. Un objetivo importante del trabajo es la purificación del Chittha (corazón). Una vez purificado el corazón uno estará preparado para recibir las enseñanzas del Guru. Es así que, antaño, en un comienzo se les asignaban trabajos a los discípulos y después que se purificaban trabajando, y que el maestro se sentía satisfecho con la madurez adquirida por el estudiante para recibir instrucción espiritual, comenzaba a impartirle el Conocimiento de Sí Mismo.

In the olden days, even before imparting knowledge to his disciples, the Guru (preceptor) would assign them different tasks that they had to perform in his hermitage. This was done with a purpose. One important object of work is purification of the Chittha (heart). Once the heart is purified one is ready to receive the teachings of the Guru. Thus, in the olden days the disciples were given work in the beginning, and after the disciples were purified by doing work, and the teacher was satisfied regarding the student's ripeness for receiving spiritual instruction, the teacher would start imparting Self-Knowledge.

Los Pandavas tenían prioridades en sus vidas. Dios era la primera para ellos, luego venia el mundo, y por ultimo ellos mismos .

Face each and everything in this world with a smile of happiness


You should face each and everything in life with a smile of happiness. In this dualistic world, it is natural that gain and pain alternate. 

You cannot avoid it. 

Any adversity is a stepping-stone to eternal bliss. 

Only when the Pandavas suffered many hardships during the fourteen years of their exile, they could secure the grace of Krishna and the Lord was always with them everywhere. 

The Pandavas had correct priorities in their lives. God was first to them, then came the world, and 'I' came last.
