PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 30 DE JULIO 2011


El sabio-preceptor del Señor Rama, Vasishta, Le dijo, "Rama, en lugar de enredarte en la indagación acerca de cómo entrara la ignorancia en el hombre, te exhortaría a dedicar tus esfuerzos a liberarte de ella." Esta lección no sólo está dirigida a Rama sino también a todo el género humano. Le ayuda a todos quienes no poseen la realización de la verdad tras del mundo objetivo. Convénzanse que ustedes tienen esta ignorancia, desechen la lucha y libérense del apego a este mundo cambiante con el ciclo de nacimiento–muerte. Es esencial que se concentren en los métodos para eliminar la ignorancia y esta senda ciertamente producirá sabiduría o Jnana. El Jnana es luz; la ignorancia es oscuridad. La oscuridad puede persistir únicamente hasta que brille la luz.

The sage-preceptor to Lord Rama, Vasishta, said to Him, “Rama, rather than entangling yourself in the inquiry regarding how ignorance entered man, I would exhort you to be engaged in efforts to get rid of it.” This lesson is directed not only to Rama but also to all mankind. It helps all who do not possess the realization of the truth behind the objective world. Be convinced that you have this ignorance, give up the struggle and get rid of attachment to this changing world with the birth-death cycle. It is very essential to concentrate on the methods to remove the ignorance and this path will certainly yield wisdom or Jnana. Jnana is light; ignorance is darkness. Darkness can persist only until light shines.
