PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 24 DE JULIO 2011


Tres tipos de actividades llegan hasta Dios y se ganan Su Gracia : (1) las que no son inspiradas por un deseo personal; (2) las que emanan del amor desinteresado; (3) la plegaria que surge de los corazones puros. Ellas llegan directamente hasta el Señor y Él les presta atención. El resto concierne a las diversas deidades que presiden sobre su disposición. Por ello, las plegarias han de ser desinteresadas, estar saturadas de amor y libres de toda traza de apego a la merced que la plegaria podría traer.

Three types of activity reach God and earn His Grace: (1) those not prompted by personal desire, (2) those emanating from unselfish love and (3) prayer arising from pure hearts. They reach the Lord directly and He pays heed to them. The rest are the concern of the various deities who preside over their disposal. Therefore, prayers have to be unselfish, saturated with love, and free from the taint of attachment to the gift that the prayer would bring.

Oferta devoción con un corazón puro


Le dan importancia a la cantidad, pero el Señor sólo tiene en cuenta la calidad. Él no calcula el número de medidas de "arroz con leche" que ofrecen, pero, ¿cuántas dulces palabras han pronunciado,  que cantidad de dulzor agregaron en sus pensamientos. Ofrézcanle Bhakti (devoción) con un corazón puro y Él les dará todo lo que alguna vez han querido.

You attach importance to quantity; but, the Lord considers only quality. He does not calculate how many measures of "sweet rice" you offered, but, how many sweet words you uttered, how much sweetness you added in your thoughts. Offer Him Bhakti with a pure heart and He will give you everything that you have ever wanted.
