PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 8 DE JULIO 2011


Toda labor habría de hacerse con el espíritu de ofrenda a Dios. Uno no debiera permanecer ocioso. Cualquier trabajo que se haga, debiera hacerse con un sentimiento de amor. Pueden aceptar cualquier trabajo que sea apropiado de acuerdo a sus aptitudes y capacidad. Mientras lleven a cabo tan sagrada labor, debieran seguir adorando su forma favorita de lo Divino. La gente dice que surgen muchos obstáculos cuando se hace Sadhana (prácticas espirituales). Cuando se presenten obstáculos, habrían de considerarse como pruebas. Las pruebas no intentan ser castigos, sino que sirven para constatar la aptitud de uno para la promoción. Si se produce un largo intervalo de tiempo entre las pruebas, eso sólo significa que la promoción no es posible por un largo tiempo. Uno habrá de enfrentar con este espíritu los obstáculos en su Sadhana e intentar superarlos.

All work should be done in the spirit of offering to God. One should not be idle. Whatever work one does, it should be done with a feeling of love. You can take up any work that is appropriate in keeping with your aptitudes and capacity. While doing such sacred work, you must carry on with worshipping your favourite form of the Divine. People say that many obstacles occur while performing Sadhana (spiritual practices). When obstacles come, they should be taken as tests. Tests are intended not as punishment, but for ascertaining one's fitness for promotion. Frequent tests mean frequent opportunities for promotion. If there is a big time lag between tests, it only means that promotion is not possible for a long time. One must face the obstacles in one’s Sadhana in this spirit and try to overcome them.

Face each and everything in this world with a smile of happiness

You should face each and everything in life with a smile of happiness. In this dualistic world, it is natural that gain and pain alternate. 

You cannot avoid it. 

Any adversity is a stepping-stone to eternal bliss. 

Only when the Pandavas suffered many hardships during the fourteen years of their exile, they could secure the grace of Krishna and the Lord was always with them everywhere. 

The Pandavas had correct priorities in their lives. God was first to them, then came the world, and 'I' came last.
