PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 28 DE JULIO 2011

El espacio es uno. Mas como resultado de la diversidad de las estructuras en que está contenido, parece estar encerrado en el hogar, el pocillo, el edificio y el cuadro. No hay verdad en esta existencia repartida; es el espacio Único el que existe en todos estos 'contenedores' – casas, lagos, montes etc. – que son configuraciones y formas, con diferentes nombres adjudicados a ellas y diferentes maneras de conducta y uso. Así también los Jivas (seres individuales) tienen diferentes nombres y formas, peculiaridades, especialidades y conductas. Mas, al igual que el cordón que sujeta las cuentas, pasando por cada una de ellas y manteniéndolas unidas, la consciencia en todos los individuos es una. Ese es el Sí Mismo, Atma, que es interpretado como Yo, debido a la ignorancia. Mientras no se capte esta verdad, el hombre no podrá liberarse de la sujeción de la multiplicidad y el cambio.

Space is one. But as a result of the diversity of the structures it is contained in, it seems to be enclosed in the home, the pot, the building and the canvas. There is no truth in this partitioned existence; it is the One space that exists in all these ‘containers’—houses, lakes, hills, etc.— which are shapes and forms, with distinct names attached to them and different modes of behavior and use. So too, Jivas (individual beings) have different names and forms, peculiarities, specialities and different behaviours. But like the string that holds the beads, passing in and through each and holding them together, the consciousness in all individuals is one. That is the Self, Atma, which is mistaken as I, through ignorance. As long as this truth is not grasped, man cannot release himself from the hold of multiplicity and change.

Una experiencia maravillosa por un estudiante Sai: 

Un día en el albergue, tenia una conversación con mi compañero Prem. Estábamos hablando sobre si iríamos este año a Kodaikanal.

Prem dijo: "Tu nombre seguramente estará allí." Me reí y le dije: "Swami ni siquiera sabe mi nombre. Él siempre me llama Hyderabad chico."


Al día siguiente, Swami vino y pidió a todos los estudiantes de postgrado venir y sentarse en la parte delantera del Pórtico del viejo Mandir . 
Avanzamos. Swami me vio y dijo en telugu, "¿No es Venugopal su nombre?" Le dije: "Sí, Swami". Swami dijo inmediatamente, "Naaku telusu (lo sé). Buen chico. Koorcho (sientate)." 

Decidí no hacer declaraciones generales como, "Swami no sabe" nunca más.

A Wonderful Experience by a Sai Student :

One day in the hostel, I was having a conversation with my classmate Prem. We were discussing who would probably be taken to Kodaikanal that year. Prem said, "Your name will surely be there." I laughed and said, "Swami doesnt even know my name. He always calls me Hyderabad boy." 

The next day, Swami came and asked for all the Post Graduate Students to come and sit at the front of the old Mandir Portico. We moved ahead. Swami saw me and said in Telugu, "Isnt your name Venugopal?" I said, "Yes Swami". Swami immediately said, "Naaku telusu( I know). good boy. koorcho(sit)."

I decided never to make sweeping statements like, "Swami doesnt know" ever again.


OUR LIFE IS HIS MESSAGE...
