PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 1 DE AGOSTO 2011

Al ver una soga en la oscuridad y, ya sea por error o ignorancia, pareciera ser una serpiente, ella desplaza la verdad que es la soga. Cuando se sabe la verdad y el observador piensa, "¡No es una serpiente, eso es una soga!", la serpiente desaparece instantáneamente, porque era una mera falsedad. ¡De modo que el sentir o el pensar son capaces tanto de crear la serpiente como de destruirla! Recuerden ésto : "¡La aseveración crea, la negación destruye!" Ambas son procesos mentales que pueden ser clasificados como 'pensamientos'. Según sea lo que piensen, en eso se convierten. Pensamientos como "¿Es real este mundo?" o "¿Vale la pena perseguir alegrías mundanas?", aunque emanan del Ajnana (ilusión), sí nos configuran desde adentro. Para superar la ilusión o la ignorancia son sumamente útiles los siguientes : (1) la atención en la ventaja Adhyatmica (progreso espiritual); (2) una fe estable; (3) la devoción, y (4) la gracia de Dios. En ausencia de cualquiera de estos cuatro, uno no podrá experimentar la suma bienaventuranza del Absoluto.

When the rope is seen in darkness, by mistake or ignorance, it appears as a serpent, displacing the truth of the rope. When the truth is known, and the onlooker feels, “This is no serpent; it is a rope!” then the serpent instantly disappears, for it was mere falsehood. So feeling or thinking is able to create the serpent and also to destroy it! Remember this: “Assertion creates, negation destroys!” Both are mental processes that can be classified as ‘thoughts’. As you think, so you become. Thoughts such as “Is this world real?” or “Are worldly joys worth pursuing?” though they emanate from Ajnana (illusion), do shape us from within. To overcome illusion or ignorance, the following are extremely helpful: (1) attention towards Adhyatmic gain (spiritual progress); (2) steady faith; (3) devotion and (4) the grace of God. Even if one of these four is absent, one cannot experience the highest bliss of the Absolute.

Mírate a ti mismo en todos, ama a todos como a ti mismo.


Mírate a ti mismo en todos, ama a todos como a ti mismo. Un perro atrapado en una habitación cuyas paredes son espejos, ve en todas, sus reflexiones múltiples, los ve como sus rivales, competidores, otros perros que debe ladrarles. 

Por lo tanto, se cansa de saltarle a esas reflexión, cuando las imágenes también le salta, y se vuelve loco de furia. 

El hombre sabio, sin embargo, se ve en todas partes y está en paz, y ademas se alegra, de que haya otros tantos reflejos de sí mismo a su alrededor. Esa es la actitud que deben aprender a tener, que te salvará de innecesarias molestias.

See yourself in all; love all as yourself

See yourself in all; love all as yourself. A dog caught in a room whose walls are mirrors sees in all the myriad reflections, not itself but rivals, competitors, other dogs which must be barked at. So, it tires itself out by jumping on this reflection and that, and when the images also jump, it becomes mad with fury. The wise man, however, sees himself everywhere and is at peace; he is happy that there are so many reflections of himself all around him. That is the attitude you must learn to possess, that will save you from needless bother.
