PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 27 DE OCTUBRE 2011

En el momento de nacer, uno no tiene cualidades buenas ni malas. Los cambios en su naturaleza ocurren debido al alimento consumido, la influencia de asociados etc. Uno desarrolla al ego y el apego debido a la compañía que frecuenta. Cuando se educan, desarrollan orgullo y albergan pensamientos de vanagloria acerca de su superioridad por sobre otros. Esta vanidad contamina el corazón. Cuando el agua se mezcla con leche, la leche ha de ser hervida para volverla pura. De manera similar uno ha de emprender varias prácticas espirituales (Sadhana) para purgar el corazón de impurezas. Sólo cuando el corazón es derretido al calor del amor Divino tienen éxito en eliminar las malas cualidades. Convénzanse que únicamente ustedes son la causa de su fortuna, buena o mala. Dios no tiene participación en causarles sufrimiento y son libres para configurar su futuro. Entonces se acercarán a Dios con un paso firme y una mente más clara.

At the time of birth, one has no good or bad qualities. Changes occur in your nature due to the food consumed, the influence of associates etc. One develops ego and attachment through the company one keeps. As you get educated, you develop pride and entertain vainglorious thoughts about your superiority over others. This conceit pollutes the heart. When water gets mixed with milk, milk has to be boiled to make it pure. Likewise one has to undertake various spiritual practices (Sadhana) to purge the heart of impurities. It is only when the heart is melted in the heat of Divine love that you succeed in removing bad qualities. Be clear that you alone are the cause of your fortune, good or bad. God has no share in causing your suffering and you are free to shape your future. Then you will approach God with a firmer step and a clearer mind.

¿Cual es exactamente el significado de Sai Baba? 

-Sai significa Sahasrapadhma (miles de flores de loto), Saakshaathkaara (realización), etc .

-Ayi significa madre.

-Baaba significa padre.

Osea que significa El que es padre y madre, y la meta de todo esfuerzo yoga ,  la madre siempre misericordiosa, el padre sabio y el objetivo de los esfuerzos espirituales.

Sai Ram - Meaning of Sai Baba


What exactly is the meaning of Sai Baba? 

Sai means Sahasrapadhma (thousand lotuses), Saakshaathkaara (realisation), etc. 

Ayi means mother and Baaba means father; it means He who is both father and mother, and the goal of all Yogic endeavour - the ever-merciful mother, the all-wise father and the goal of spiritual efforts.
