PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 20 DE OCTUBRE 2011

El juego de la vida es un drama cósmico que Dios está representando. Los actores y actrices, los diálogos, las indicaciones y los cantos han sido reunidos todos por Él. Él es el reparto, el director y la audiencia. Es Dios quien se manifiesta Él Mismo y manipula a cada ser. En la epopeya del Mahabharatha, Él alineó una parte con ilimitado poderío material impulsada por una codicia injusta, y otra con la fuerza aparentemente limitada del Atman, el siempre justo. En la confrontación y el conflicto cósmco entre ambas, el Señor actuó como el árbitro que llevó a la victoria de la justicia por sobre el poderío. La lección medular que podemos extraer está contenida en el Gita – el buscador que se rinde con las palabras, "Karishye vachanam thava" – Tu palabra se acatará – y el Señor advirtiéndole al buscador, "Swadharma nichanam sreyah" – en el cumplimiento del deber que se te ha asignado radica tu seguridad y prosperidad. Toda labor que uno lleve a cabo cada día debiera ser examinada bajo este criterio.

The game of life is a cosmic play that God is enacting. The actors and actresses, the dialogues, the cues and the songs have all been assembled by Him. He is the cast, the director, and the audience. It is God who manifests Himself and manipulates every being. In the epic Mahabharatha, He filled one side with boundless material strength urged on by unrighteous greed, and the other with apparently limited strength of the Atman, the ever-righteous. In the cosmic confrontation and conflict between these two, the Lord stood forth as the arbiter who brought about the victory of right over might. The core lesson we derive is contained in the Gita—the seeker surrendering, with the words, “Karishye vachanam thava” (Your word shall be obeyed) and the Lord admonishing the seeker, “Swadharme nidhanam sreyah” (In fulfilling the duty assigned to you lies your safety and prosperity.) All work one does every day should be tested on this criterion.

Sai Ram - Día de la Declaración de Avathar.


20 de octubre se celebra cada año como el Día de la Declaración de Avatar. Es en este día de importancia histórica en el año 1940, el joven muchacho Sathyanarayana Raju reveló al mundo su identidad divina y la misión gloriosa para la que Él ha venido.

Las siguientes líneas de capturan los eventos de ese día trascendental:

Sathyanarayana comenzó su día escolar como de costumbre. Sin embargo, en pocos minutos, regresó a la casa. De pie en la puerta exterior, arrojo a un lado los libros que llevaba y gritó: "Ya no soy tu Sathya. Yo soy Sai. "La cuñada vino de la cocina, sólo para ser cegado por el resplandor del halo alrededor de la cabeza de Baba! Se dirigió a ella: "Yo me voy, yo no les pertenezco; Maya (la ilusión) se ha ido, mi bhaktas (devotos) me llaman, yo tengo mi trabajo que hacer. No puedo quedarme aquí más tiempo" .

Cuando el hermano corrió a su casa al oír todo esto, Baba le dijo: "renuncia a todos tus esfuerzos por" curarme. Yo soy Sai, no me considero relacionado con usted ".

A pesar de las reiteradas peticiones, Sathya no entro nuevamente a la casa. Se mudó al jardín del Inspector de Impuestos Sri Anjaneyulu, y se sentó sobre una roca en medio de los árboles.

La gente entró en el jardín de todas las direcciones llevando flores, frutas, incienso y alcanfor para adorarlo.

Se escuchaban las voces de cientos cantando bhajans (cantos devocionales) y seguian las estrofas de la primera oración que Sri Sathya Sai les enseñaba.

"Manasa Bhajare Gurucharanam Dusthara Bhava Sagara Tharanam"

(Oh mente! Medita en los pies del Gurú, que le llevará a través del mar de la existencia "Samsara" o del mundo.)

Para celebrar este hito en la vida de Baba, el Día de Declaración de Avatar se celebra cada año con devoción y gratitud.

Sai Ram - Avathar Declaration Day

20th October every year is celebrated as the Avatar Declaration Day. It is on this historically significant day in the year 1940 that the young lad Sathyanarayana Raju revealed to the world His Divine identity and the glorious mission on which He has come. The following lines capture the events on that epochal day:

Sathyanarayana started for school as usual. However, within a few minutes, He returned to the house. Standing on the outer doorstep, He cast aside the books He was carrying and called out, “I am no longer your Sathya. I am Sai.” The sister-in-law came from the kitchen, only to be blinded by the splendour of the halo around Baba's head! He addressed her, “I am going; I don't belong to you; Maya (delusion) has gone; My Bhaktas (devotees) are calling Me; I have My Work; I can't stay here any longer." When the brother hurried home on hearing all this, Baba only told him, "Give up all your efforts to 'cure' Me. I am Sai; I do not consider Myself related to you".

In spite of repeated pleas, Sathya would not step into that building again. He moved in into the garden of the Excise Inspector Sri Anjaneyulu's bungalow, and sat on a rock in the midst of the trees. People came into the garden from all directions bringing flowers, fruits, incense and camphor to worship Him. The garden resonated with the voices of hundreds singing bhajans (devotional singing) and following the lines of the first prayer that Sri Sathya Sai taught them.

“Manasa Bhajare Gurucharanam Dusthara Bhava Sagara Tharanam “

(O Mind! Meditate on the Feet of the Guru, which will take you across the wearisome sea of Samsara or worldly existence.)

To celebrate this landmark event in Baba’s life, the Avatar Declaration Day is celebrated every year with devotion and gratitude.
