La gentes pueden actuar como gusten, mas no le pueden escapar a las consecuencias de sus acciones. Se trate ya sea de un simplón o de una gran persona, habrá de enfrentar los resultados de sus actos. Que nadie vaya a dejarse llevar por la ilusión de que puede cometer un pecado y quedar libre de gabelas. A dondequiera que vayan, los resultados de sus acciones les seguirán como su sombra. Dios está siempre a vuestro lado diciendo "¡Tathastu! ¡Tathastu!" (¡Así ha de ser!) Las gentes no consideran debidamente esta verdad y se dejan arrastrar a malas acciones. A pesar de saber perfectamente lo que está bien y qué está mal, se debaten incapaces de desechar sus malos hábitos. Las experiencias que uno tenga en la vida, buenas o malas, dependen de sus acciones. Para evitar las malas consecuencias, uno habría de inquirir siempre, antes de emprender cualquier actividad, si está bien o está mal.

People may act as they please, but they cannot escape from the consequences of their actions. Whether he is a simpleton or a great person, one has to face the results of one’s actions. Let no one be under the illusion that one can commit sin and still go scot-free. Wherever you go, the results of your actions will follow you like your shadow. God is always by your side saying “Tathastu!”, “Tathastu!” (So shall it be!). People do not take cognisance of this truth and indulge in wicked deeds. Despite knowing pretty well what is good and what is bad, they struggle, unable to give up their evil ways. One's experiences in life, good and bad, depend on their actions. To avoid the ill consequences, before undertaking any activity, you should always enquire whether it is good or bad.

Si sus calidades son buenas y nada fuerte te va a afectar - Bhagavan
Un palo de incienso enciende cuando tiene fuego en el. Si alguien enciende un cigarrillo, hay fuego en el. Si un bosque se quema, hay fuego en el. Si una estufa está funcionando, hay fuego en ella. Estos son todos fuegos de diferentes intensidades. Si usted toma un manojo de ramas secas y lo pone cerca del palo de incienso o el cigarrillo, las ramas secas no se encienden. No sólo no se prenden fuego, incluso apagan el fuego en el palo de incienso o el cigarrillo.
Por otro lado, incluso si usted toma un conjunto de árboles de plátano crudo y verde para apagar los incendios forestales, no solo no tendrá éxito en la extinción de los incendios forestales, sino que se convertirán en parte del fuego.
La razón de esto es que el incendio forestal es rico en calidad y en cantidad. Por tanto, es capaz de quemar todo lo que entra en contacto con él. El fuego en el palo de incienso y el humo del cigarrillo no tiene ni la calidad ni la cantidad, y por lo tanto, se extinguen.
Por lo tanto, si las buenas cualidades en ti mismo son débiles, se extinguirán con la presión de las malas compañías. Si las buenas cualidades son fuertes, apagaran todo lo malo que entra en contacto con ellas.

If your qualities are good and strong nothing will ever affect you - Bhagawan
An incense stick when lighted has fire in it. If some one lights a cigarette, there is fire in it. If a forest is burning, there is fire in it. If a cooking stove is working, there is fire in it. These are all fires of different strengths. If you take a bundle of dry sticks and put it near the incense stick or the cigarette, the dry sticks will not catch fire. Not only will they not catch fire, they will even put out the fire in the incense stick or the cigarette. On the other hand, even if you take a bundle of raw and green plantain trees to the forest fire, they will not succeed in putting out the forest fire but will themselves become part of the fire.
The reason for this is that the forest fire is rich in quality and in quantity. It is therefore able to burn everything that comes into contact with it. The fire on the incense stick and on the cigarette has neither the quality nor the quantity and therefore it itself is extinguished. So it is, that if the good qualities in yourself are feeble, they will be extinguished under the pressure of bad company. If they are strong, they will extinguish everything bad that comes into contact with them.
