¡Miren las flores del jardín! Cuando el jardinero las corta, los pimpollos se regocijan porque mañana será su turno de ser recogidos por las manos del jardinero, y sus rostros se llenan de alegría mientras se despliegan con esa esperanza. ¿Acaso se sienten tristes? ¿Languidecen sus caras? ¿Están menos brillantes? No. En el momento en que se enteran de que al día siguiente es su turno, se preparan con gran gusto y emoción. De esa misma manera deben estar ustedes dispuestos, en el camino de la práctica espiritual. Recuerden con entusiasmo el nombre del Señor a cada minuto, sin preocuparse ni sentirse tristes porque mañana es su turno, o porque alguien ha muerto hoy. Para las personas que se han transformado en aspirantes espirituales, sus mentes (manas) son Mathura, la ciudad natal del Señor Krishna; sus corazones son Dwaraka, el lugar favorito del Señor Krishna, y sus cuerpos son Kashi, la sagrada tierra del Señor Shiva. (Prema Vahini, Capítulo 43).
Look at the blossoms in the garden! When the gardener plucks the flowers, the buds exult that tomorrow is their turn to be gathered into the gardener’s hands, and their faces are full of joy when they unfold in that hope. Do they feel any sadness? Do their faces droop? Are they any the less bright? No. The moment they know that the next day is their turn, they make themselves ready with great gusto and excitement. In the same way, you must be ready on the path of spiritual practice! Enthusiastically remember the name of the Lord every minute, without worrying and feeling sad that your turn is tomorrow or because someone died today. For people who transformed themselves into spiritual aspirants, their mind (manas) is Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna), their heart is Dwaraka (Lord Krishna’s playground), and their body is Kashi (holiest land of Lord Shiva).
