Todo ser es una encarnación de la Divinidad. La verdadera relación humana sólo puede crecer cuando se ha reconocido esta verdad. La primera etapa es cuando ustedes reconocen «Estoy en la Luz». La siguiente es cuando saben «La Luz está en mí». Finalmente se dan cuenta de «Yo soy la Luz». «Yo» representa al amor y la luz, que denotan la Sabiduría Suprema (Jnana). Cuando el amor y la luz se unen, se ha tomado Conciencia. El camino de la devoción es más fácil que el de la sabiduría. El amor debe venir desde dentro, no ser forzado desde fuera. Cultiven el amor espontáneo. La actitud de pedir favores a Dios debe ser abandonada. El amor a Dios no debe estar basado en quid pro quo, el buscar favores a cambio de plegarias y ofrendas a Dios. Pongan su fe en Dios, y cumplan con su deber al máximo de su capacidad. Satúrense de amor, y compártanlo con todos. (Discurso Divino, 15 de septiembre de 1988)
Every being is an embodiment of the Divine. True human relationship can grow only when this truth is recognised. The first stage is where you recognise, ‘I am in the Light.’ Next is when you know, ‘The Light is in me,’ and finally you realise, ‘I am the Light.’ ‘I’ represents love and light which connotes Supreme Wisdom (Jnana). When love and light unite, there is Realisation. The path of devotion is easier than the path of wisdom. Love should come from within, not forced from outside. Develop spontaneous love. The attitude of petitioning to God for favours should be given up. Love of God should not be based on quid pro quo, seeking favours in exchange for prayers and offerings to God. Place your faith in God and do your duty to the best of your ability. Saturate yourself with love and share it with all. (Divine Discourse,15-Sep-1988)
