MENSAJE DEL DIA 18 de septiembre de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM En la penumbra del atardecer, una gruesa soga se confunde con una serpiente. Cuando el lugar es iluminado, queda sólo la soga; la serpiente nunca estuvo allí. Una ilusión momentánea causó la aparición de la serpiente y la ausencia de la soga. Este fenómeno se llama Maya. Maya les hace imaginar la presencia de lo que no está allí, y les hace creer en la existencia de lo inexistente. Las fuerzas combinadas de Prakriti, Avidya y Maya (el mundo fenoménico, la ignorancia y la ilusión), hacen que las personas olviden su auténtica naturaleza. La gente suele imaginar que ha conseguido muchas cosas, y cree que todos sus logros se deben por entero a sus propios esfuerzos y capacidades. Olvidan la verdad de que hay un poder superior que es la fuerza impulsora de la acción, así como de los resultados correspondientes. Esto es efecto de la ilusión (bhrama). Para ayudar a que nos libremos de esta ilusión, y para darnos la capacidad de comprender la intrínseca naturaleza divina, los antiguos sugirieron las plegarias. A momentary delusion caused the appearance of the snake and the absence of the rope. This phenomenon is called Maya. Maya makes you imagine the presence of what is not there and believe in the existence of that which is nonexistent. The combined power of Prakriti, Avidya and Maya (Phenomenal world, Ignorance and Delusion) makes people forget their true nature. People often imagine that they accomplished many things, and believe that all their achievements are entirely due to their own efforts and capabilities. They forget the truth that there is a higher power which is the driving force for action as well as the results thereof! This is the effect of delusion (bhrama). To help get rid of this delusion and enable one to comprehend the inherent divine nature, the ancients suggested prayers.
