"En el nombre 'Ganapati' , la 'G' es sinónimo de Guna o virtud, y 'Na' de Vijnaana o sabiduría. Cuando 'Ga' y 'Na' están unidos, tenemos la combinación de Vijnaana (conocimiento científico) y Prajnaana ( la sabiduría espiritual). Es a partir de la combinación de Vijnaana y Prajnaana, que emerge Sujnaana, el Conocimiento Supremo. 

Sujnaana es la marca distintiva de un verdadero hombre .* Ajnaana es el signo de la ignorancia. Ganapati es el Señor de Vijnaana y Prajnaana (el conocimiento mundano y la sabiduría espiritual). Por lo tanto, cuando un devoto reza a Ganesha,  pide la concesión de Vijnaana, Prajnaana y Sujnaana ".

It is out of the combination of Vijnaana and Prajnaana, Sujnaana (Supreme Knowledge) emerges. Sujnaana is the distinguishing mark of a true man.*Ajnaana is the sign of ignorance. Ganapati is the Lord of Vijnaana and Prajnaana (worldly knowledge and spiritual wisdom). Therefore, when a devotee prays to Ganesha, he asks for the conferment of Vijnaana, Prajnaana and Sujnaana."
