PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 10 DE SEPTIEMBRE 2011

Recuerden que aquel que es esclavo de los impulsos y Vasanas (tendencias) es carente de Jnana (sabiduría). En verdad, ¡él o ella serán unos enclenques! No obstante, tan pronto como son desarraigados los impulsos, pueden recobrar la naturaleza divina que fuera perdida por negligencia. Los impulsos invaden el ámbito del corazón, causan interminables problemas. Les hacen rememorar placeres, agitando el recuerdo de experiencias pasadas, y comienzan a ansiarlas de nuevo. Las ansias hacen que los sentidos y la mente se vuelquen hacia actividades enérgicas. De modo que tratan de reunir y disfrutar las cosas que ansían. Todo esto se produce en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, por así decirlo. Los impulsos operan de manera tan sutil y tan poderosamente. Los impulsos son causa de toda la felicidad material. Si están presentes, se arruina toda pureza; si están ausentes, la mente es diáfana y pura.

Remember, the one who is a slave to impulses and Vasanas (tendencies) is devoid of Jnana (wisdom). In truth, he or she is a weakling! However, as soon as impulses are uprooted, you can earn back the divine nature that was lost by neglect. The impulses invade the realm of the heart; they cause endless trouble. They remind you of pleasures, agitating the memory of past experiences, and you start craving them again. The cravings make the senses and the mind to engage in brisk activities. So you attempt to collect and enjoy the things that you crave. All this takes place in the twinkling of an eye, so to say. The impulses operate so subtly and so powerfully. The impulses are the cause of all the objective happiness. If they are present, all purity is ruined; if they are absent, the mind is pellucid and pure.

Uno de los oradores anteriores, un miembro de los Mensajeros de Sathya Sai, oró para que Swami no les olvide. Pensar que Dios se olvida de alguien es sólo su imaginación, es reflexión, la reacción y la resonancia de sus sentimientos. Dios nunca olvida a nadie. Son los devotos los que recuerdan o se olvidan de Dios. Dios ama a todos por igual. Por lo tanto, desarrollen  el amor por Dios.

The Divine Lord never ever forgets nor Forsakes anyone - Bhagawan


One of the previous speakers, a member of the Messengers of Sathya Sai, prayed that Swami should never forget them. To think that God forgets anybody is only your imagination, the reflection, reaction and resound of your inner feelings. God never forgets anybody. It is only the devotees who remember or forget God. God loves all equally. So, develop love.
