PENSAMIENTO DEL DÍA – 11 DE SEPTIEMBRE 2011

En esta era de tecnología se está haciendo cada vez más difícil llevar una vida apacible, la gente está siendo víctima de varias dolencias físicas y mentales. Mucha gente en las ciudades que se encuentra en la primera línea de la civilización, ha perdido su goce de un sueño natural. Experimenta sólo un sueño artificial, inducido por tabletas. Debido ...a este uso excesivo de medicación, han ido en aumento los problemas cardíacos y de presión arterial. Las gentes se están convirtiendo en enfermizos despojos sumidos en la angustia y el temor. Se producen drogas y píldoras por millones, mas la salud en general no ha mejorado, de hecho han surgido nuevas variedades de enfermedades y se están desarrollado con rapidez. Sólo unos pocos inteligentes se han dado cuenta de la eficacia del Yoga y de otras prácticas espirituales. Y lo han confirmado por su propia experiencia.

In this era of technology it is becoming increasingly difficult to lead a peaceful life; people are falling victim to various physical and mental ailments. Many people in the cities which are on the front line of civilization, have lost the delight of natural sleep. They experience only artificial sleep induced by tablets. Due to such excessive use of medication, heart and blood pressure problems are on the rise. People are becoming unhealthy wrecks who are lost in fear and anxiety. Drugs and pills are produced in millions, but the general health has not improved. In fact new varieties of illnesses have emerged and are developing fast. Only a few intelligent people have realized the efficacy of yoga and other spiritual practices. This they have confirmed through their own experience.
