PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 17 DE SEPTIEMBRE 2011

La juventud debiera compartir con la sociedad los medios y medidas para su progreso y seguridad. Debieran constituirse en actores modelo de desempeño para los menores que ellos y guiarles hacia sendas socialmente útiles. Al mismo tiempo, deben seguir los pasos de sus mayores y aprender de ellos lecciones para su propio progreso. La práctica es tan importante para ratificarle a uno en la sabiduría, como lo es la lectura respecto de la ratificación en el conocimiento. Junto con el conocimiento, los jóvenes han de cultivar las buenas cualidades de humildad, reverencia, devoción a Dios y firme fe. Deben dedicarse a las buenas obras y disfrutarlas por la sola alegría que confieren. Junto con el ganar riqueza y el compromiso en el mejoramiento de la sociedad, debe prestarse atención al fomento y la preservación de virtudes y a la observancia de los códigos morales. Debieran darse pasos hacia la mejora de la correcta conducta y el Sadhana (prácticas espirituales) de uno. Habrán de ser purificados todos los niveles de consciencia para orientarlos luego hacia tareas virtuosas.

Youth should share with society the means and measures for its progress and security. They must be ideal role models to those younger than them and guide them into socially useful paths. At the same time, they must follow the footsteps of their elders and learn from them lessons for their own advancement. Practice is as important for confirming one in wisdom, as reading for confirming one in knowledge. Alongside of knowledge, youth have to cultivate the good qualities of humility, reverence, devotion to God and steadfast faith. They have to engage in good works and enjoy them for the sheer elation they confer. Along with the earning of wealth and involvement in the improvement of society, attention must be paid to the promotion and preservation of virtues and to the observance of moral codes. Steps should be taken for improving one’s righteous behaviour and Sadhana (spiritual practices). All levels of consciousness have to be purified and then directed to holy tasks.

La divinidad sólo tiene un atributo: la encarnación del Amor - Bhagavan

La gente adora al Señor como Roudraakaara, atribuyendole formas temibles y cualidades Divinas. Esto no es correcto. La Divinidad sólo tiene un atributo: la encarnación del amor. 

Se ha dicho, "El amor es Dios. El amor impregna el cosmos." Por lo tanto, no se debe ver el mundo desde un punto de vista mundano. Debe ser visto a través de los ojos del amor.

The Divine has only one attribute: the embodiment of Love - Bhagawan


People worship the Lord as Roudraakaara, attributing dreaded forms and qualities to the Divine. This is not proper. The Divine has only one attribute: the embodiment of love. It has been said, "Love is God. Love pervades the Cosmos." Hence, one should not view the world from a worldly point of view. It should be viewed through the eyes of Love.
