PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 27 DE AGOSTO 2011
Hay una tendencia entre los jóvenes de llevar vidas cómodas, descansando en habitaciones con aire acondicionado, evitando el trabajo manual con su esfuerzo y tensión, su sudor y suciedad, como para que ni un pliegue de sus bien planchadas ropas llegue a arrugarse. Esta actitud está muy distante de los ideales de obediencia y humildad instilados por la educación. Ellos debieran impartirle a quienes les rodean en la sociedad, las sacras ideas que han absorbido. Debieran lanzarse como cachorros de tigre a la arena de las aldeas y limpiarlas de toda clase de contaminación. Debieran enseñar y entrenar a los analfabetos residentes de las aldeas en como vivir decentemente y con dignidad. Debieran esforzarse junto a los aldeanos y llevarles a progresar. La juventud de hoy debiera mostrarle altos ideales de vida al mundo a través de sus propias vidas ejemplares.

There is a tendency among the youth to lead comfortable lives resting in air-conditioned chambers, avoiding manual labour, its stress and strain, sweat and dirt, without even one fold of their ironed clothes getting crumpled. This attitude is a far cry from the ideals of obedience and humility instilled by education. They should impart to the people around them in society the sacred ideas they have imbibed. They must spring like tiger cubs into the arena of the villages and cleanse them of all sorts of pollution. They must teach and train the illiterate residents of the villages to live decently and with dignity. They must strive along with the villagers and lead them forward. The youth of today should pose lofty ideals of life to the world through their exemplary lives.

Cuál es la verdadera vida espiritual?
"Adhyatmika Jivitha o la vida espiritual, no significa dejar el hogar y vivir en un lugar solitario. La vida espiritual significa en realidad que todo el mundo debe pensar que todas las personas son una sola, y él mismo es uno con todos. La verdadera vida espiritual es la que nos enseña la unidad o la unicidad y nos hace llevar una vida de abnegación y de amor.
En lugar de llenar nuestra mente con teorías y sutilezas de los Sastras, y la cabeza con libros y escrituras, es mejor, llenar nuestros corazones con el amor y las aspiraciones espirituales. Cuando somos capaces de llenar nuestros corazones con el amor verdadero, entonces será posible para nosotros obtener la tranquilidad de pensamiento y la paz de la mente ".

What is True Spiritual Life?
'Adhyatmika Jivitha' or spiritual life does not mean leaving the home and living in a solitary place. Spiritual life really means that everybody should think that all people are one and he himself is one with all. True spiritual life is that which teaches us unity or oneness and makes us lead a life of selflessness and love.
Instead of filling our mind with theories and subtleties of Sastras and our head with books and scriptures, it is better to fill our hearts with love and spiritual aspirations. When we are able to fill our hearts with real love, then it will be possible for us to obtain tranquillity of thought and peace of mind " .
