Dios es la encarnación del Amor. El hombre, que es una imagen de lo Divino, debiera tener al amor como su cualidad básica. ¿Por qué entonces vemos al hombre infectado por cualidades como el odio, la envidia, el orgullo y la arrogancia? La razón está en que el corazón del hombre se contamina al dirigir su amor hacia objetos externos. La imagen del Señor no puede grabarse en un corazón que sea impuro. Sólo cuando el hombre se da cuenta de la omnipresencia y la omnisciencia de Dios, llega a comprender la naturaleza de la Divinidad. Sólo entonces reconocerá la Divinidad dentro de sí mismo. Para experimentar la alegría que brota de un devoto que ha desarrollado el Sannikarsha Bhakti (amor magnético por Dios), deberán mostrar amor y reverencia hacia los mayores y servirles con humildad y respeto. Hacia sus iguales, han de mostrar amor y cordialidad. Hacia los jóvenes debieran expresar simpatía y afectuosa preocupación. Por estos medios pueden demostrar su amor y consideración por lo Divino que se halla en cada uno de ellos y en todos nosotros.

God is the embodiment of Love. Man, who is an image of the Divine, should have love as his basic quality. Why, then, is man infected with qualities like hatred, envy, pride and self-conceit? The reason is: man's heart gets polluted by his love being turned towards external objects. The image of the Lord cannot be imprinted on a heart that is impure. It ... is only when man realizes the omnipresence and omniscience of God that he can comprehend the nature of Divinity. Only then will he recognise the Divinity within him. To experience the joy that springs from a devotee who has developed Sannikarsha Bhakti (magnetic love towards God), you must show love and reverence towards elders and serve them with humility and respect. Towards equals, you must show love and friendliness. Towards the young, you should extend sympathy and loving care. By these means, you can demonstrate your love and regard for the Divine that is in each of them and in all of us.

El Señor siempre roba los corazones de sus devotos - Bhagavan
Una vez, Yashoda regañó al niño Krishna diciendo: ¡Oh! Mi querido Krishna! Usted no come la comida que le preparo. Usted va a las casas de las lecheras( Gopis), y a escondidas comes la mantequilla guardada en sus casas. Esto crea dolor en mí. ¿Es que la mantequilla llena de amor de la madre, no sabe bien para usted?. Y diciendo esto, amarró a Krishna a un mortero, con una cuerda. Es la experiencia de todo el mundo, que no nos gusta la comida preparada en nuestra propia casa. Los platos cocinados en las casas de otros, parecen más sabrosos. Esto es muy natural.
Sin embargo, Krishna no robaba la mantequilla de las casas de los demás por su sabor. Hay un mensaje oculto en este lila. Aquí, la mantequilla simboliza un corazón puro. Siempre que haya un corazón puro, Krishna lo toma. Un corazón puro será suave y dulce. Los corazones de las gopis fueron madurados con la devoción. Eran puros, suaves y dulces. Por lo tanto, Krishna había ido a sus casas para robar su corazón.

You go to the houses of the milkmaids and stealthily eat the butter stored in their houses. You are creating problems for me. Is it that the butter suffused with mother's love does not taste good for you?. So saying, she tied Krishna to a mortar with a rope. It is everybody's experience in the world that we do not like the food cooked in our own house. The items cooked in others houses will appear to be tasty. This is quite natural.
However, Krishna did not steal the butter from others houses for its taste. There is an underlying message in this leela. Here, butter symbolises a pure heart. Wherever such a pure heart is available, Krishna takes it. Such a pure heart will be soft and sweet. The hearts of Gopis were ripened with devotion. They were pure, soft and sweet. Hence, Krishna had gone to their houses to steal their hearts.
