PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 23 DE JUNIO 2011


Dejen que la mente corra hacia donde quiera; ¡sólo cuídense de no seguirla, buscando descubrir hacia dónde va! Entonces vagará por algún tiempo según le plazca. Pronto, cansada y exhausta, ¡terminará volviendo a ustedes! Es como un niño chico que no sabe nada. Puesto que la madre le sigue y le llama para que regrese, se hace de coraje y confianza para correr en cualquier dirección, mas si la madre no corre tras del niño y vuelve tranquilamente sobre sus pasos, también el niño, por sí mismo, ¡correrá de vuelta hacia su madre! Sigan con el recuerdo y la meditación en el Nombre y la Forma Divina que más les guste, de la manera en que acostumbran. De este modo adquirirán unidireccionalidad (Ekagratha); alcanzarán el anhelo de su corazón.

Let the mind run wherever it likes; just be careful not to follow it, seeking to discover where it is going! It will then wander about for some time as the fancy takes it. Soon, getting tired and exhausted, it will come back to you in the end! It is like a little child that knows nothing. Since the mother is following it and calling it back, it gets courage and confidence to run forward in any direction, but if the mother does not run behind the child and instead retraces her steps quietly, the child too, of its own accord, will run back to the mother! Carry on with the remembrance and meditation of the Divine Name and Form that you like best, in the manner you are accustomed to. In this way, you will acquire one-pointedness (Ekagratha); you will realise your heart’s desire.
