MENSAJE DEL DIA 30 de septiembre de 2014 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Cada ser está impregnado de amor. Es sólo para nuestra conveniencia, para nuestro placer, y nuestros propios fines egoístas que desarrollamos ciertas relaciones mundanas. Abandonen el egoísmo y luchen por la auto-realización. Deben preguntarse a sí mismos: "¿Quién soy yo? ¿Cuerpo, mente, intelecto, chitta (recuerdos) o ahamkara (ego)?" No son nada de eso. Ustedes son ustedes mismos; "yo soy yo". Reconozcan esta verdad. Se debe prestar servicio desinteresado. Entonces el fruto de todas las acciones debe ser sacrificado. Sólo una persona que renuncia a los frutos de todas las acciones, merece ser llamado Yogui (renunciante). Yogui no es aquel que simplemente se sienta debajo de un árbol, cierra los ojos y medita. El verdadero sacrificio implica renunciar a sus deseos. No sean estrechos de mente. Si poseen estrechez de mente toda su vida se convertirá en estrecha. It is only for our convenience, for our pleasure, and our own selfish purposes that we develop certain worldly relationships. Give up selfishness and strive for self-realisation. You must enquire into yourself, “Who am I? Body, mind, intellect, chittha (memories) or ahamkara (ego)?” You are none of these. You are yourself - “I am I.” Recognise this truth. One must render selfless service. The fruit of all actions must then be sacrificed. Only a person, who denounces the fruits of all actions, deserves to be called a Yogi (renunciant). A Yogi is not one who merely sits under a tree, closes one’s eyes and meditates. Real sacrifice involves giving up your desires. Do not be narrow-minded. If you are inflicted with narrow-mindedness your whole life will become narrow. Develop broad-mindedness and cultivate selfless love. La leyenda dice que la diosa Chamundi mató al demonio Mahisha durante esta ocasión. El significado interno de esta historia es que, bajo ninguna circunstancia, deben asociarse con cualidades demoníacas. Siempre estén en buena compañía. Si se unen a las malas compañías, también se volverán malos. Por lo tanto, nunca se hagan amigos de una mala persona. En el momento en que se encuentren con este tipo de personas, solo digan "adiós" y sigan adelante. No deben desarrollar odio hacia ellos. A quienquiera que se crucen, considérenlos como encarnaciones de la Divinidad y salúdenlos. Incluso cuando se encuentren con personas que los odian, ofrézcanles sus salutaciones (pranams) y pregúntenles, "¿Cómo estás hermano?" Entonces ellos también responderán de la misma manera. Un ser humano es el que está dotado de valores humanos y también da muestras de ello. Digan siempre la verdad y respeten la rectitud (Dharma). Sean pacíficos. Sean felices y dichosos. The inner meaning of this story is that, under no circumstances, associate yourselves with demonic qualities. Always be in good company. If you join bad company, you will also become evil. Hence, never befriend a bad person. The moment you come across such people, just say ‘goodbye’ and move on. You need not develop hatred towards them. Whomever you come across, consider them as embodiments of Divinity and salute them. Even when you come across people who hate you, offer your salutations (pranams) to them and ask them, “How are you brother?” Then they too will respond in the same manner. Ninguno de estos objetos es real. La verdad es eterna y está más allá de los tres períodos de tiempo: pasado, presente y futuro. Esa Verdad es la Divinidad. Dios es uno solo, ahora y por siempre. Qué absurdo es pensar que la visión mundana que está sujeta a cambios periódicamente es real. Hoy eres un estudiante. Mañana te convertirás en funcionario en una organización y unos años más tarde serás un funcionario retirado. Entonces, ¿cuál es verdadera? ¿La vida como estudiante o como funcionario o como funcionario retirado? Por lo tanto, todo lo que ven en este mundo objetivo y todas las relaciones entre las personas son sólo temporales, nunca reales y permanentes. La Divinidad no es así. Estas pueden parecer máximas simples pero están llenas de profundo significado. Discriminen constantemente entre las acciones negativas y positivas. Todas las acciones malas y nocivas son de carácter negativo, absténganse por completo. Sus mentes deben estar llenas de buenos pensamientos, sus corazones deben estar llenos de compasión, y sus manos deben participar en el servicio desinteresado. Estarán atrapados en comportamientos negativos siempre que se identifiquen con el cuerpo. En el momento en que se consideren como los amos de los sentidos, sus acciones serán positivas. El dominio de los sentidos conduce a la liberación. La liberación no es algo que se logra después de la vida. La lucha por la liberación debe comenzar temprano en la vida y desarrollarse sin interrupción, hasta que estén libres de la esclavitud de los sentidos. Your mind must be filled with good thoughts, your hearts should be filled with compassion, and your hands must be engaged in selfless service. You will be caught up in negative behavior, as long as you identify yourself with the body. The moment you consider yourself as the master of the senses, your actions will be positive. Mastery of the senses leads to liberation. Liberation is not something to be achieved after life. Striving for liberation must start early in life and proceed continuously, until you are free from the bondage to the senses. Carry on all duties without attachment to the fruits thereof. MENSAJE DEL DIA 26 de septiembre de 2014 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM En el drama de la vida, algunos actúan sobre la base de que nada les pertenece y que, cualesquiera sean las palabras que uno pronuncie o la acción que uno realice, todo pertenece a Dios y nada es propio. Ellos actúan su papel en este espíritu, no atribuyendo nada a sí mismos. La otra categoría son aquellos que se comportan como los actores que son conscientes del papel que están actuando y no se olvidan de su individualidad en sus acciones. No consideran que meramente están representando un papel, sino que se consideran los hacedores. La diferencia entre los dos es que mientras los primeros se dan cuenta de la naturaleza temporal de la obra que están representando y no se apegan a las cosas relacionadas con el papel, los otros desarrollan apego al papel y no quieren desprenderse de las cosas relacionadas con él. En la actualidad, la mayoría de las personas sufren de una actitud posesiva. La razón es el uso incorrecto de los sentidos y la esclavitud de los deseos provocados por ellos. In the drama of life, some act on the basis that nothing belongs to them and that, whatever words one utters or whatever action one does, all belong to God and nothing is their own. They play their role in this spirit, ascribing nothing to oneself. The other category are those that are like the actors who are conscious of the role they are playing and do not forget their individuality in their actions. They do not consider themselves as merely acting a part but as the doer. The difference between the two is that while the former realises the temporary nature of the part being played and is not attached to the things connected with the role, the other develops attachment to the role and does not wish to part with things connected with the role. Presently, most people suffer from the possessive attitude. The reason is the failure to use the senses properly and enslavement to the desires prompted by them. Train your sense organs only to perceive sacred things and abstain from indiscriminate enjoyment. Esta es la causa fundamental de todas las penas y dificultades que enfrenta la humanidad. Ustedes dicen que están pasando por dificultades. ¿De dónde han venido? Las dificultades son las consecuencias de los propios hechos y pensamientos pasados. Todo en este mundo es susceptible de cambio. Dios es el único principio inmutable. ¿Para qué es la vida humana, después de todo? ¿Es sólo para comer, beber, dormir y finalmente morir? De ser así, ¿puede la vida humana denominarse sagrada? En el momento del nacimiento todas las personas son puras y sagradas. A medida que crecen, pierden gradualmente esta pureza. ¡Esto no debe ser así! Siempre hay que mantener la propia pureza. El Divino Señor es el Director del Drama Cósmico. El objetivo principal de todos los actores que actúan un papel en particular es llevar a cabo su deber, dejando de lado su individualidad. En una actuación de la escuela, un niño puede hacer el papel de un director. Al actuar, debe exhibir el comportamiento de un director y no comportarse como lo haría en su rutina normal diaria; esas características deben dejarse atrás. Su nacimiento como ser humano es un don de Dios que debe ser utilizado con el debido cuidado. Llenen sus vidas con actos de justicia y no desaprovechen sus talentos en fines profanos. Sus vidas tendrán una mezcla de cosas buenas y malas, disciernan y seleccionen para actuar su papel de una buena manera, en la que manifiesten humanidad, y por lo tanto compórtense dignamente. El corazón de cada uno de ustedes está lleno de amor. ¿Con cuántos están compartiendo desinteresadamente el amor de su corazón? ¡Con pocos! ¿De qué sirve el amor, si no se le comparte? Deben compartir con cada ser de la creación todo el amor que está en sus corazones. El amor es un obsequio de Dios, y deben compartirlo generosamente en este mundo. Este es el único camino para salir de todos los problemas y fracasos que la gente sufre. Muchos de ustedes repiten mecánicamente las palabras "Que todos los seres de todos los mundos sean felices". ¿A cuántos están dando felicidad? Muchos de ustedes se ocupan sólo de sus intereses egoístas, tienen fuertes egos y todo el tiempo exhiben ostentación. MENSAJE DEL DIA 22 de septiembre de 2014 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Hay aire dentro y fuera de nosotros, y a nuestro alrededor. Pero no se le puede ver ni tomar con la mano. ¿Se puede negar por esto la existencia del aire? Si no hubiera aire, ¿podríamos existir? Negar la existencia del aire es negar nuestra propia existencia. Dios lo impregna todo. Es omnipresente, trasciende el tiempo y las circunstancias. Dios existe en un nivel acorde a nuestro nivel de comprensión de la Divinidad. Todos los objetos animados e inanimados en el mundo son Vishnuswarupa (manifestaciones de la Divinidad). Es tonto observar el Cosmos negando el principio que permea al Cosmos. ¿No es acaso también ingenuo mirar al Universo, que es la encarnación de la Divinidad, y negar la existencia de la Divinidad? Es por esta razón que las escrituras declaran: Pashyannapi na pashyathi mudho (El tonto, aunque mire, no reconoce). (Discurso Divino, 9 de septiembre de 1992) Inside us, outside and all around there is air. But it cannot be seen, nor can it be grasped by the hand. For this reason can you deny the existence of air? How can one exist if there is no air? To deny the existence of air is to deny one's own existence. God is all-pervading. He is omnipresent. He transcends time, space and circumstances. God exists at a level which is in accordance to one's own level of understanding of the Divine. All the animate and inanimate objects in the world are Vishnuswarupa (manifestations of the Divine). It is foolish to look at the cosmos and deny the principle that pervades the cosmos. Equally is it not silly to look at the universe, which is the embodiment of the Divine, and deny the existence of the Divine? That is the reason why the scriptures declared: Pashyannapi na pashyathi mudho (The foolish one, even though he beholds, does not recognise). MENSAJE DEL DIA 21 de septiembre de 2014 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM 2014/09/21 Hoy muchos se preocupan por los niveles de contaminación del agua, el aire y el medio ambiente. Se gastan enormes cantidades de tiempo, esfuerzo y recursos para purificar los elementos. ¿No deberían ustedes estar igualmente preocupados por la contaminación de la mente humana? Muchas mentes y corazones están muy contaminados. La necesidad acuciante de hoy es erradicar esa contaminación. Muchos están profundamente inmersos en los deseos y placeres mundanos. Como resultado hay insatisfacción mental, y amarga frustración. Vuelvan las mentes de vuelta a la fuente de la cual se han originado. ¿Qué debe hacer un pez fuera del agua, para sobrevivir? ¿Puede estar bien si se sumerge en café, o si se ubica en el sillón más cómodo? El pez sólo sobrevive felizmente cuando regresa a su hogar, el agua. Así también las mentes humanas deben ser devueltas a su hogar original, que es el Uno Mismo divino dentro de cada ser. La paz mental sólo puede ser alcanzada volviéndose hacia adentro. (Discurso Divino, 30 de agosto de 1993) Today many are concerned about the levels of pollution in water, air and environment. Enormous amounts of time, effort and resources are spent on purifying the elements. Shouldn’t you also be equally concerned, if not more, about the pollution in human minds? Many minds and hearts are much contaminated. The dire need today is to eradicate this pollution. Many are deeply immersed in worldly pleasures and desires. As a result, there is mental dissatisfaction and bitter frustration. Turn the minds, back to the source, from where they have originated. What should a fish out of water do to survive? Can the fish thrive by immersing itself in coffee or by placing itself on the most comfortable couch? The fish will survive happily only when it returns home - water! So too, human minds must be restored to their original home, which is the Divine Self within every being. Mental peace can be attained only by turning inward. Tuvieron sed, buscaron agua y encontraron un antiguo pozo seco. Gyanadeva, quien seguía el camino de la sabiduría, se transformó en pájaro y voló hacia abajo, bebió agua y regresó. Namadeva saw this and didn’t agree with the approach. He thought that one must elevate oneself from this human birth to Divine and not the other way. So he sat at that spot and chanted the name of the Lord. Every time he did it with intensity, the level of water began to rise higher and higher and finally the well started overflowing. He comfortably drank the water and was blissful. He demonstrated clearly wisdom is useful but is not greater than Divinity. He clearly taught the precious lesson that the Name of the Lord will grant everything that one needs in life and ultimately the Divine Himself. Al permitirse ser egoístas, las personas menosprecian su nacimiento, y a la Divinidad dentro de sí mismas. Sólo llevar una vida moral puede santificar este nacimiento. Dios es el morador interno en cada uno, y dirige la vida humana como nuestra conciencia interior. Si permites que dentro de ti crezca el egoísmo, éste adopta las formas de lujuria, odio y codicia. Estos tres vicios son muy peligrosos y demoníacos. Cuando los deseos mundanos aumentan, el vicio crece, hasta el punto de hacerte perder la fe en Dios, y aún desarrollar enemistad hacia Dios. Nunca vayas en pos de la felicidad mundana, plagada de peligros, abandonando a la Divinidad, que está dispuesta a permanecer a tu lado. Tus padres o demás familiares pueden estar alejados de ti. Dios nunca está distante. Está siempre a tu lado, detrás de ti y alrededor de ti, y siempre te protegerá. By indulging in selfishness, people undermine their birth and the Divinity within themselves. Leading a moral life alone can sanctify this birth. God is the indweller in everyone and directs human life as one’s inner conscience. If you let selfishness grow within you, it takes the form of lust, hatred and greed. These three vices are very dangerous and demonic. When worldly desires increase, the vices grow to the extent of making you lose faith in God and even lead you to developing enmity towards God. MENSAJE DEL DIA 18 de septiembre de 2014 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Sakhubai, una ardiente devota del Señor Panduranga, acudió al santo Namadeva y le planteó: "Maestro, hago muchas tortas de boñiga de vaca, pero la gente se las roba. Necesito ganarme la vida vendiéndolas, pero me quedan muy pocas para vender. ¿Qué hago?" Namadeva le preguntó, sonriendo: "¿Cómo sabes que esas tortas de boñiga robadas eran las tuyas?" Sakhubai contestó inmediatamente: "Maestro, las hago pensando y recitando todo el tiempo el nombre del Señor Panduranga; mis sentimientos se reflejan en ellas, por lo que dan resultados sorprendentes". Luego le pidió a Namadeva que rompiera una de las tortas y la escuchara. Everyone around Namadeva were greatly astonished to hear the inanimate cowdung cake reverberating with Panduranga’s name with the correct pitch, tune and rhythm. Dominaba 64 diferentes campos del conocimiento, incluyendo el idioma de los animales, aves e insectos. Poseía conocimientos, riquezas y prosperidad como para igualar al Cielo. Usó sus austeridades como medio para adquirir el dominio sobre el mundo físico, depositando su fe en el mundo fenoménico en lugar del Creador. Optó por no indagar acerca del Creador del mundo fenoménico. El Universo es propiedad del Creador. Rama era el Creador mismo, y Sita era el poder (Shakti) de Rama. Ravana, dejándose llevar por la lujuria, el deseo y la codicia, desarrolló odio y enemistad hacia Rama, y raptó a la Madre Sita. ¿Cuál fue el resultado de esto? He mastered 64 distinct fields of knowledge, including the language of animals, birds and insects. He possessed all knowledge, wealth and prosperity that equaled heaven. He used his penance as a means to acquire mastery over the physical world, reposing his faith on the phenomenal world and not on the Creator. He chose not to enquire about the Creator of the phenomenal world. The Universe is the Creator’s property. Rama was the Creator Himself and Sita was Rama’s Power (Shakti). Ravana, giving in to lust, desire and greed, developed hatred and enmity towards Rama and abducted Mother Sita. What was the result? Not only he, but his entire kingdom was destroyed. Despite such high knowledge and prowess, he failed to recognize the Divine within and ruined himself due to a moral lapse. Thus Ramayana clearly teaches the lesson that spiritual wisdom alone saves, and is essential. MENSAJE DEL DIA 16 de septiembre de 2014 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Dakshah es la cualidad de tener la firme determinación de realizar acciones puras. La determinación debe limitarse a las acciones puras, de utilidad para otros y que los sublimicen. En todas las circunstancias, deben optar por actuar de una manera benéfica y abstenerse estrictamente de cualquier acto impuro. Una persona que puede lograr esto se llama Dakshah, y es muy querida por el Señor. Udaseenah significa la liberación del apego. Esto significa permanecer sereno e imperturbable ante la fama o la difamación, la paz o la tristeza, la pérdida o la ganancia, el placer o el dolor, sin euforia por la prosperidad o depresión por el fracaso. Nunca deben sucumbir a la calumnia, ni deben alegrarse por la fama. La fama y la difamación son como nubes pasajeras; deben ser tratadas por igual. Si las toman en serio, darán lugar a agitaciones en la mente, lo que puede conducir a tendencias demoníacas. Cualquier devoto que posea estas virtudes sagradas es muy querido por el Señor. (Divino Discurso, 30 de agosto de 1993). Dakshah is the quality of having firm determination to perform pure actions. The determination should be confined to actions that are pure, helpful to others and that sublimate you. At all circumstances, you must choose to act in a good manner and strictly refrain from any impure act. A person who can accomplish this is called Dakshah, and is very dear to the Lord. Udaseenah means the freedom from attachment. It means remaining serene and unruffled by fame or blame, peace or sorrow, loss or gain, pleasure or pain, not elated by prosperity or depressed by failure. You must never succumb to calumny, nor should you exult over fame. Fame and blame are like passing clouds; they must be treated the same. If you take them seriously, they will give rise to agitations in the mind, which may lead to demonic tendencies. Any devotee who possesses these sacred virtues is very dear to the Lord. No se dan cuenta de que Dios está presente en todo lo que ven. Las escrituras declaran que el que no alcanza a ver a la Divinidad manifestada en todo a su alrededor es un tonto. Cada ser, cada átomo en este universo está saturado por lo Divino. Por lo que deben tratar de darse cuenta de su propia Divinidad interior y también reconocer al Señor en todos los seres. Deben manifestar su naturaleza amorosa, no se conviertan en un corazón de piedra. Para ello, deben cultivar la templanza, el amor y la compasión, y no recurrir a ningún medio pecaminoso. Sus deseos no podrán cumplirse nunca si le causan daño a los demás. Si están llenos de envidia, orgullo y ostentación no podrán agradar a Dios. Scriptures declare that the one who fails to see the Divine manifest everywhere around them is a fool. Every being, every atom in this Universe is permeated by the Divine. So you must seek to realize your own inner Divinity and also recognize the Lord in all beings. You must manifest your loving nature, not become stone-hearted. For this, you must cultivate forbearance, love and compassion, and not resort to any sinful means. Your desires can never be fulfilled if you cause harm to others. Su mente se contamina por los malos pensamientos y malos sentimientos. Si dejan que su mente se llene continuamente de malos pensamientos, cosecharán malas consecuencias. Así que no le den espacio a los malos pensamientos y sentimientos, y expulsen toda la negatividad. Su cuerpo debe estar libre de la mancha de la violencia o el daño (himsa). Hence give no room to wrong thoughts and feelings, and expel all negativity. Your body must be free from the taint of violence or harm (himsa). People commit many acts of violence and many sinful deeds with their hands; this is incorrect. The body has been given primarily for practicing righteousness (Dharma). Such a sacred gift must be used for rendering service to others. No one can refrain from action of some kind, even for a minute. Under no circumstances, should one engage in any impure act. You must achieve this purity with firm determination. Canten desde el fondo de sus corazones; no como una simple interpretación musical. El demoníaco rey Ravana repetía constantemente el mantra de Shiva, Namah Shivaaya, sin renunciar a ninguna de sus cualidades demoníacas. El joven Prahlada repetía el mantra Om Namo Narayana con todo su corazón y alma. Esto sirvió para salvarlo de todas las terribles pruebas a que su malvado padre, Hiranyakashipu, lo sometió. His father cast him from a precipice, had him trodden by several elephants, got him bitten by venomous reptiles and pushed him into the sea, yet Prahlada emerged unscathed from all these ordeals. MENSAJE DEL DIA 12 de septiembre de 2014 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Todos los aspirantes deben tener pureza interna, ya que todas las acciones surgen de los impulsos internos y no de las fuerzas externas. Sus acciones reflejan su ser interior. Cuando surgen sentimientos puros dentro de ustedes, sus acciones son naturalmente puras. Para limpiar los impulsos internos, deben ser puros en mente, palabra y cuerpo. De estas tres, la pureza en la palabra es la más importante. El Gita revela: "Cada palabra que pronuncias debe evitar causar excitación o agitación (Anudhvegakaram v?kyam Satyam Priyahitam cha yat)". Su palabra debe ser verdadera y agradable. Hay cuatro factores que explican la contaminación de la palabra; estos son: expresar falsedad, hablar excesivamente, llevar cuentos en contra de otros, y el abuso o la crítica de los demás. Asegúrense de que su lengua no se entregue a estas ofensas. Sólo cuando se deshagan de estas cuatro tendencias malignas desde dentro, su palabra se volverá pura y no contaminada. When pure feelings arise within you, your actions will naturally be pure. To cleanse the internal impulses, you must be pure in your mind, speech and the body. Of these three, purity in speech is the most important. Gita reveals, “Every word you utter should be free from causing excitement or agitation (Anudhvegakaram Vakyam Satyam Priyahitam cha yat)”. Your speech must be true and pleasing. Four factors account for the pollution of speech; they are - uttering falsehood, excessive talking, carrying tales against others, and abuse or criticism of others. Make sure your tongue does not indulge in these offences. Only when you get rid of these four evil tendencies from within, your speech will become pure and unpolluted. Sólo el hombre ha perdido su valor debido a su participación en actividades mundanas. Las personas no tienen gratitud hacia los cinco elementos que les confieren de forma gratuita innumerables preciados beneficios como la luz, el calor, el aire y el agua. Ustedes tienen que pagar un precio por pequeños servicios como la electricidad y el agua corriente. Pero, ¿qué precio pagan por la luz del sol que ilumina al mundo? Esta luz es un regalo de la Divinidad. ¿Qué precio pagan por una suave brisa o un fuerte aguacero? Dios les está proveyendo gratuitamente esos valiosos beneficios. ¿Qué gratitud muestran las personas a Dios por todo esto? La única manera de mostrar el agradecimiento a los cinco elementos es Smarana (cantar el nombre del Señor sin cesar). (Discurso Divino, 14 de septiembre de 1997). Every object in the world, whether it is a bird or a sheep or anything else, has a value of its own. Man alone has lost his value because of his involvement in mundane pursuits. People have no gratitude to the five elements which confer on them gratis innumerable precious benefits like light, heat, air and water. You have to pay a price for so many small amenities like electricity and running water. But what price does you pay for the light of the Sun who illumines the world? This light is a gift of the Divine. What price do you pay for a soft breeze or a heavy downpour of rain? God is providing freely such precious benefits to you. What gratitude do people show to God for all these? The only way to show one's gratitude to the five elements is Smarana (to chant the Lord's name incessantly).
