La madre le pide al muchacho de dieciocho años que vaya a la cocina, tome un plato, se sirva arroz y curry y coma. La madre no es insensible o cruel; ella conoce la capacidad del muchacho y lo trata como debe ser tratado. A otro hijo, lo acompaña a la cocina, se sienta a su lado y le sirve la comida. Pero sienta al tercer hijo en su regazo y lo alimenta con canciones para hacer que el proceso sea agradable para el niño. No piensen que la madre es parcial; no, sólo está haciendo uso de su conocimiento de la capacidad de sus hijos para hacerlos progresar. Esa es la naturaleza del amor maternal.
