MENSAJE DEL DIA 28 de mayo de 2014 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Hoy, en el mundo, el conocimiento cae dentro de tres categorías. (1) En términos de la vida cotidiana, está el conocimiento basado en la percepción. Tratar a los hechos como verdad y a la ficción como falsedad, es conocimiento práctico. (2) En la segunda categoría están aquellos que toman al mundo fenoménico como real, y tratan a todo lo que no se puede ver u oir, como irreal o inexistente. Consideran a la Naturaleza como real, y a Dios como inexistente. (3) La tercera categoría consiste en aquellos que no hacen distinción entre una y otra cosa, y sostienen que el universo entero es una proyección de la Divinidad, y está impregnado de la Divinidad. Esto es conocimiento espiritual. Indudablemente, es necesario el conocimiento del mundo fenoménico. Pero debemos ir más allá del mismo, para conocer la Realidad eterna e invariable. La educación no lo es todo en la vida; es sólo una parte de ella. Las virtudes son la columna vertebral de la vida, y el camino espiritual es el único medio de cultivarle. (Discurso Divino, 26 de junio de 1989) In the world today, knowledge falls into three categories. (1) In terms of daily life, there is factual knowledge based on perception. To treat facts as truth and fiction as untruth is practical knowledge. (2) In the second category are those who regard the phenomenal world as real and treat all that cannot be seen or heard as unreal or non-existent. They regard Nature as real and God as non-existent. (3) The third category consists of those who make no distinction between one thing and another and hold the view that the whole universe is a projection of the Divine and is permeated by the Divine. This is spiritual knowledge. Doubtless, knowledge of the phenomenal world is necessary. But one should go beyond it to know the Eternal and Unchanging Reality. Education is not the be-all and end-all of life; it is only a part of it. Virtues are the backbone of life and spiritual path is the only means of cultivating it.
