MENSAJE DEL DIA 30 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM El árbol, que crece del suelo, retorna al suelo; el individuo, que surge de Brahman (la Divinidad), retorna a Brahman. Esta verdad no es fácilmente percibida, y ese es el misterio de esta maravillosa creación. ¡Encarnaciones de Brahman! Cuando se siembra una semilla en el suelo, ella brota en forma de retoño, y a su debido tiempo crece hasta ser un gran árbol. En el árbol, las hojas, las flores y los frutos parecen ser todos diferentes unos de otros, y cada uno de ellos tiene un propósito específico. Pero todos ellos son diferentes formas del barro del que se originaron. Viendo una cuerda a la distancia, y sospechando que pudiera ser una serpiente, ustedes temen y gritan. Pronto acude alguien, y les asegura que no es una serpiente sino una cuerda. En el momento en que se dan cuenta de eso, el miedo desaparece. Durante todas estas fases la cuerda fue sólo una cuerda. La cuerda es Brahman; ustedes la confunden con una serpiente, que equivale a esta creación, la Naturaleza. Luego acude el jnani (el sabio), quien les revela que todo lo que ven es en realidad Brahman. Todo lo que ustedes ven en el universo entero es la manifestación del Brahman. [Discurso Divino, 30 de julio de 1996) The tree growing out of the soil returns to the soil; the individual arising from Brahman (Divinity) returns to Brahman - this truth is not easily perceived and that is the mystery of this marvellous creation. Embodiments of Brahman! When a seed is sown in the earth, it sprouts as a sapling and grows in due course into a big tree. In the tree, the branches, the leaves, the flowers and the fruits all appear as distinct from each other and each of them have a specific purpose. But all of them are different forms of the mud from which they have originated. Seeing a rope at a distance, suspecting that it may be a snake, one develops fear and screams. Soon someone arrives and assures that it is not a snake but a rope. The moment that person realises that, the fear is got rid of. During all these phases, the rope was only a rope. The rope is Brahman, you mistake it to be a snake or this creation or Nature. Then comes the jnani (the wise one) who reveals that all that you see is verily Brahman. All that you see in the entire universe is a manifestation of the Brahman. Hoy en día el Universo necesita desesperadamente unidad. A través de la fe en Dios se puede promover la unidad . ¡Miren la diversidad de gente en los salones de Puttaparthi! Gente de distintos credos, nacionalidades y culturas, pero todos unidos en su común lealtad a Bhagavan. Por este sentimiento solo de fe en la Divinidad, se alcanza la unidad. Todos ustedes son encarnaciones de lo Divino. Ustedes son encarnaciones del amor y la paz, de la Divinidad; deben cultivar esta fuerte convicción. Con el poder de alimentarlos que posee la Divinidad no hay nada que no puedan lograr. Karna y Ravana son ejemplos de hombres poderosos destruidos porque no tenían el poder de la Divinidad. MENSAJE DEL DIA 28 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Dirijan hacia Dios el amor que surge dentro de ustedes. Dediquen su cuerpo a la Divinidad. Ésta es la verdadera señal de la devoción. Hay tres componentes en todo ser humano: la mente, la capacidad de hablar y el cuerpo. Estos tres se llaman Trikaranas- los tres agentes activos. Cuando los tres se usan para fines sagrados la vida es santificada. Todo el mundo necesita devoción. Todas las personas deben cultivar este espíritu, no importa cuáles sean sus creencias. Sólo la espiritualidad puede purificar el corazón y la mente de los seres humanos. El segundo requisito es la moralidad. La moralidad ayuda a purificar lo que se dice (vaak). El tercero se llama Dharmikan. Todos los actos rectos realizados por el cuerpo o las manos los santificarán. A través de la espiritualidad, la moralidad y la rectitud los tres instrumentos se purifican. Sólo aquel que ha alcanzado esta triple pureza puede hacer realidad a la Divinidad. Si cualquiera de estos instrumentos son impuros, ustedes no podrán hacer realidad a la Divinidad. (Discurso Divino, 1 de enero de 1996) Turn the love that arises in you towards God. Dedicate your body to the Divine. This is the true mark of devotion. There are three constituents in every human being: the mind, the power of speech and the body. These three are called Trikaranas - the three active agents. It is when all three are used for sacred purposes, your life is sanctified. All need devotion. Every person must cultivate this spirit, irrespective of one’s beliefs. It is only spirituality that can purify the heart and mind of human beings. The second requirement is morality. Morality helps to purify speech (Vaak). The third is called Dharmikam. All righteous deeds done by the body or hands sanctify you. It is through spirituality, morality and righteousness that the three instruments get purified. Only the one who has achieved this triple purity can realise the Divine. If any of these instruments are impure, you will not be able to realise the Divine. MENSAJE DEL DIA 27 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM La morada del Señor está descripta de diversas formas: como Vaikuntha, Kailasa, etc. Todos estos son nombres imaginarios. ¿Cuál es la morada de Dios? El Señor le dijo al Sabio Narada: “Yo habito dondequiera que mis fieles canten Mis glorias.” El Señor mora en los corazones de los fieles; esa es Su casa principal. ¡Todos los otros lugares son ‘sucursales’! Cualquier mensaje dirigido a la Divinidad como habitante interior de sus corazones con seguridad llegará a Dios. ¿Qué quiere decir Ekadashi? No se debe considerar como un lugar o momento especial. La forma de Ekadasa Rudra está compuesta por los cinco órganos de la percepción, los cinco órganos de la acción y la mente. Rudra reside en el cuerpo humano, que está lleno de numerosas potencialidades divinas. Propónganse recordar, hoy y todos los días, que estas potencialidades especiales, incluso la Divinidad Misma, habitan muy profundo dentro de sus corazones. MENSAJE DEL DIA 26 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM No hay límite de tiempo o espacio para afianzarse en la contemplación del Señor Omnipresente. No hay lugar sagrado ni momento especial. Dondequiera que la mente se regocije en la contemplación de la Divinidad, ¡ese lugar es sagrado! Cualquier momento en que se haga, ¡se convierte en el momento propicio! Los sabios y las escrituras antiguas también nos revelaban que para meditar sobre Dios, no hay momento ni lugar fijo. Por lo tanto, en cualquier momento y lugar que la mente lo desee, mediten sobre el Señor. El mundo puede alcanzar la prosperidad sólo a través de almas disciplinadas de corazón puro; representan la sal de la tierra. Para promover el bienestar del mundo, desde este mismo instante todos deben orar por el advenimiento de los nobles y los santos, y tratar de merecer las bendiciones de los grandes. Cada día al retirarse a descansar, recuerden estos pensamientos, y traten de olvidar los sufrimientos del día. (Prema Vahini, Cap. 73) There are no limitations of time or space for the establishment of oneself in the contemplation of the Omnipresent Lord. There is nothing like a holy place or a special time. Wherever the mind revels in contemplation of the Divine, that place is holy! Whenever it does so, that moment becomes the auspicious moment! Ancient sages and scriptures also revealed to us that for meditation on God, there is no fixed time or place. Hence anytime and anywhere your mind desires, meditate on the Lord! The world can achieve prosperity only through disciplined souls whose hearts are pure; they represent the salt of the earth. In an attempt to promote the welfare of the world, from this very minute, everyone should pray for the advent of the noble and holy, and try to deserve the blessings of the great. MENSAJE DEL DIA 25 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Aunque el cuerpo esté inactivo, la mente puede estar muy ocupada, actuando por su cuenta. ¡La gente con este tipo de mentes cae fácilmente presa del destino o de las consecuencias kármicas! Cuando uno tiene la mente fija en la contemplación de Dios y la búsqueda de la verdad, aunque el cuerpo y los sentidos lleven a cabo actos de servicio al mundo, no se verán afectados por el karma; aunque realicen actos, están libres de los frutos de esos actos. Esta es la lección de Bhagavad Gita. El corazón de la persona que no se esfuerza por cultivar su mente con pensamientos santos se convierte sin duda alguna en un paraíso del mal y la perversidad. Recuerden esto: hasta que perciban la Divinidad en todos y en todo, continúen meditando y repitiendo el nombre del Señor. Asimismo, dediquen su tiempo al servicio del mundo, sin pensar en los frutos. Continúen haciendo esto hasta que su mente esté libre de las olas de sentimientos y esté llena de la Divinidad. Entonces serán bendecidos. (Prema Vahini, Cap. 72) Though your body may be inactive, your mind will be very busy, committing acts on its own. People with such minds fall prey to fate or karmic consequences easily! When one has the mind fixed on contemplation of God and the pursuit of truth, though the body and senses do acts that are of service to the world, they won’t be affected by karma; though they do actions, they are free from the fruits of the action. This is the lesson from Bhagavad Gita. The heart of the person who doesn’t strive to cultivate the mind with holy thoughts is definitely the paradise of evil and wickedness. Bear this in your mind: Until you see Divinity in everyone and everywhere, continue to meditate and repeat the Lord’s name. Also, devote your time to the service of the world, regardless of the fruits thereof. Carry on this until your mind is free from the waves of feelings and is full of Divinity. Then you will become blessed. El que recita el nombre de Dios no teme las preocupaciones mundanas. El hombre de pocas palabras estará libre de toda enemistad. Cuando la gente habla en exceso se involucra en peleas. Por lo tanto, todos deberían hablar con moderación. El ser controlados al hablar conduce a sentimientos amistosos. Aquel que es cuidadoso en su conducta, reflexionando debidamente antes de actuar, no temerá el peligro. Todos estos preceptos se relacionan con la educación. La verdadera educación consiste en saber cómo llevar una vida tranquila. Este es el rasgo distintivo de toda persona educada. Además de progresar en su carrera, ustedes deberían aspirar a la paz en el mundo, porque todos son parte de la comunidad mundial. Su bienestar está íntimamente ligado al del mundo. The hard-working farmer has no fear of starvation. The one who chants the name of God has no fear of worldly worries. The man of few words will be free from enmity. Through excessive talk people fall prey to quarrels. Hence everyone should cultivate moderation in speech. Restraint in speech is conducive to friendly feelings. The one who is careful in his behaviour, doing all actions after due deliberation, will have no fear of danger. All these precepts are related to education. True education consists in knowing how to lead a peaceful life. This is the mark of every educated person. In addition to furthering your career, you should aspire for world peace, for all of you are part of the world community. Your well-being is intimately tied to that of the world. Hence you should give up all narrow feelings and acquire the feeling of unity with everyone and fellowship with the Divine. MENSAJE DEL DIA 23 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM La gente dice que el servicio a la humanidad (manava seva) es servicio a Dios (Madhava seva). Eso es verdad. Pero aunque el servicio a la humanidad es santo, a menos que esté unido a ese ideal más alto, la gente no se beneficiará, por más grande que sea el servicio. La mera repetición del eslogan es inútil si el servicio se brinda sin fe en la divinidad de las personas y con la meta puesta en el renombre y la fama y los frutos de la propia acción. Cualquiera sea la acción que se emprenda, si se está constantemente en la contemplación del Señor, con fe en la divinidad esencial de la persona, entonces está justificada la afirmación de que el servicio a la humanidad y el servicio a Dios son lo mismo. Sin pensar en Dios (Madhava), ¿cómo puede comenzar el servicio a Dios? En cambio, lo que se haga con el Señor en la mente, por el camino de la verdad y de acuerdo con los aspectos del dharma, debe ser considerado como servicio desinteresado (seva) al Señor. (Prema Vahini, Cap. 71) People say that service to humanity (manava seva) is service to God (Madhava seva). That is true. But although the service of humanity is holy, unless it is merged in the bigger ideal, people won’t benefit, however huge the service. Mere repetition of the slogan is useless if service is done without faith in the divinity of people and with an eye on name and fame and the fruits of one’s action. Whatever actions one undertakes, if one constantly has as companion the contemplation of the Lord, and faith in the essential divinity of people, then the statement about service to humanity and service to God being the same is justified. Without thoughts of God (Madhava), how can service to God originate? Instead, whatever is done with the Lord in mind, along the path of truth and according to aspects of dharma, has to be considered as selfless service (seva) to the Lord. MENSAJE DEL DIA 22 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Cuando la voluntad del Señor, las necesidades de los buscadores espirituales, y las enseñanzas de grandes personas producen su efecto combinado, la felicidad del mundo estará asegurada y no se verá disminuida. Si toda la humanidad reza en unión para que los disturbios, la injusticia, el desorden y la mentira se transformen en paz, verdad, amor y servicio mutuo, las cosas, sin duda, mejorarán. La preocupación es inútil. No hay otra salida. Esto no es motivo de desesperación. Es en contra de la naturaleza esencial de las personas declararse débiles y faltas de fuerza. Por lo tanto, renunciando a la búsqueda de otros medios, las personas deben probar la oración, el servicio a los demás, y el amor y el respeto mutuos. Ya no deben demorarse; pronto adquirirán satisfacción y alegría. (Prema Vahini, Capítulo 70). When the Lord’s will, the needs of spiritual seekers, and the teachings of great persons produce their combined effect, the happiness of the world will be assured and undiminished. If all humanity prays together with unity for unrest, injustice, disorder, and falsehood to be transformed into peace, truth, love, and mutual service, things will certainly become better. Worrying is fruitless. There is no other way out. This is no occasion for despair. It is against the essential nature of people to plead weakness and want of strength. Therefore, giving up the search for other means, people must try prayer, service to others, and mutual love and respect. They should delay no longer; they will soon acquire contentment and joy. MENSAJE DEL DIA 21 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM El camino trazado por las personas santas tiene que ser reparado de vez en cuando, ya sea por los que viajan a través de él, o por aquellos que dicen tener autoridad sobre él. A eso se le llama 'enseñanza (bodha)'. Es con el fin de hacer esas reparaciones que el Señor envía en ocasiones a algunos individuos autorizados, sabios y personas divinas. A través de sus buenas enseñanzas, el camino abierto por las personas de Dios del pasado se despeja y suaviza otra vez. Pero, ¿cómo puede conocerse la consecuencia del anhelo del alma por el Advenimiento del Señor? Dado que esto no puede conocerse, uno tiene que orar hasta que el mundo se establezca en la felicidad. La felicidad del mundo es la señal de Su llegada; si esto se entiende, entonces es fácil reconocer inmediatamente al Avatar. Es entonces que la religión de la verdad (sathya), de la compasión (daya), de la sabiduría espiritual (jñana) y del amor (prema) crecerá y prosperará. Así que hasta que éstos no estén firmemente arraigados, las personas deben continuar con sus oraciones. Esa es la responsabilidad de las personas. (Prema Vahini, Capítulo 70) The road laid out by holy people has to be repaired now and then, either by those who travel through it or by those who claim authority over it. That is what is called ‘teaching (bodha)’. It is for the sake of such repairs that the Lord occasionally sends some authorised individuals, sages, and divine people. Through their good teachings, the path opened by the God-people of the past is again made clear and smooth. But how is one to know the consequence of the soul’s yearning for the Lord’s Advent? Since this can’t be known, one has to pray until the world is established in happiness. The happiness of the world is the sign of His arrival; if this is understood, then it is easy to recognise the Avatar immediately. It is then that the religion of truth (sathya), of compassion (daya), of spiritual wisdom (jnana) and of love (prema) will grow and prosper. So until these are firmly rooted, people must continue their prayers. That is the responsibility of the people. MENSAJE DEL DIA 20 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Las personas se dedican a explorar el espacio, pero no hacen el menor esfuerzo por explorar la Divinidad interna. ¿De qué sirven los experimentos en el espacio cuando no se cultivan de forma genuina las cualidades humanas y la práctica de las virtudes básicas, tales como actuar reverentemente con la madre, el padre y el preceptor? Hoy en día las personas están viviendo en forma humana, ¡pero están llenas de cualidades bestiales! Las Escrituras declaran que las personas pueden alcanzar la inmortalidad solamente por la renuncia (tyaga) y no a través de las acciones, la riqueza o la progenie. ¿A qué se debe renunciar? Renuncien a sus malas cualidades. Para manifestar su naturaleza divina inherente, cultiven el amor a Dios y el temor al pecado, y la adhesión a la conducta correcta (sangha niti). Cuando temen al pecado y aman a Dios, no pueden caer en actos inmorales, asegurando así de forma automática la moralidad en la sociedad. Dios puede ser conocido sólo por la experiencia y no por experimentos. Así pues, sigan sus prácticas espirituales elegidas con diligencia y sinceridad. (Discurso Divino, 5 de junio de 1994) People are engaged in exploring space but do not make the slightest effort to explore the Divine within. Of what use are experiments in space when there is no genuine cultivation of human qualities and the practice of basic virtues such as acting in reverence with the mother, the father and the preceptor? People today are living in human form but are filled with beastly qualities! Scriptures declare that people can attain immortality only by renunciation (tyaga) and not through actions, wealth or progeny. What must be renounced? Renounce your bad qualities. To manifest your inherent divine nature, cultivate love for God and fear of sin and adherence to right conduct (sangha niti). MENSAJE DEL DIA 19 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Cuando la gente necesita algún servicio o ayuda, se acerca a los que tienen la autoridad y transmite su petición. Así también, en el estado interno, cuando las personas normales no tienen posibilidad de lograr y adquirir devoción, caridad, paz, y verdad, los grandes y nobles, que desean lograrlas, oran al Señor dentro de sí mismos. Escuchando estas oraciones, Él Mismo viene al mundo y derrama Su gracia sobre toda la gente. A modo de ejemplo, el Señor Rama y el Señor Krishna encarnaron en respuesta a las oraciones de los sabios. Del mismo modo, el Santo Ramakrishna rezó a la diosa Kali para que encarnara y estableciera la rectitud (dharma) que arrancara de raíz la injusticia y el egoísmo. Por lo tanto se deben ofrecer oraciones una y otra vez para la realización de este noble propósito. Nadie debe desesperarse y abandonar las oraciones si no resultan inmediatamente en el advenimiento del Señor. Desde los tiempos antiguos, recuerden que el Señor siempre ha respondido a las oraciones santas y sinceras con Su Advenimiento. (Prema Vahini, Capítulo 70). When people need any convenience or assistance, they approach those in authority and convey their request. So also, in the internal state, when there is no possibility of achieving and acquiring devotion, charity, peace, and truth by normal people, the great and noble, who desire to achieve these, pray to the Lord within themselves. Listening to these prayers, He Himself comes into the world and showers His grace on all people. As an example, Lord Rama and Lord Krishna incarnated answering the prayers of the sages. Similarly Saint Ramakrishna prayed to Goddess Kali to incarnate and establish righteousness (dharma) that would uproot injustice and selfishness. Thus prayers should be offered again and again for the realisation of this noble purpose. No one should become desperate and give up prayers if they don’t result immediately in the advent of the Lord. Todos deben vivir de acuerdo con el lema - "Ayuda siempre -. Nunca hagas daño". Toda persona educada debe participar en el servicio desinteresado a la sociedad, con humildad y un corazón puro. Todas las distinciones académicas o incluso la observancia de las prácticas espirituales son de poca utilidad si no hay amor en el corazón. Al corazón se le llama "Hridaya" en sánscrito. Este término se compone de las dos palabras, 'HrI' y 'Daya' (compasión). El Señor es descrito como Hridyavasi (el Morador en el corazón). El amor y la compasión son inherentes a toda persona. Cada ser tiene que compartir su amor con los demás desinteresadamente. El no compartir el amor es una tremenda ingratitud hacia la sociedad, a la que se le debe todo. Ellos encontrarán la tarea imposible, porque no son las autoridades para eso. Los enemigos internos, los seis enemigos (arishadvarga) que operan dentro de una persona, pueden ser arrancados de raíz sólo con las enseñanzas de los grandes santos, el amor a Dios, y la compañía de los nobles y santos. El mundo sufre daños a manos de personas malvadas, cuando los mismos legisladores responsables de la detención de los ladrones se enredan con ellos. De la misma forma, el mundo queda envuelto en la ignorancia más oscura cuando la rectitud (dharma) es destruida y aquellos que contemplan en Brahma sin cesar y los «grandes» aspirantes espirituales renuncian al sendero del bienestar del mundo y se convierten en víctimas del disfrute de los sentidos o la ambición de ganar nombre y fama. Entonces el sufrimiento se incrementará diariamente. El mundo entero disfrutará del calor de la paz y la alegría sólo cuando todos - los líderes de los países y los aspirantes espirituales por igual - realicen el camino recto y reflexionen sobre la omnipotencia del Señor. (Prema Vahini, Capítulo 69) Police and law-makers can defeat only external foes; they have no power to destroy internal enemies. They will find the task impossible, for they are not the authorities for that. The internal foes, six enemies (arishadvarga) that operate within a person, can be uprooted only with the teachings of great saints, love for God, and the company of the noble and holy. The world suffers harm at the hands of wicked people when the law-makers responsible for apprehending thieves themselves become entangled with them. Equally, the world becomes enveloped in darker ignorance when righteousness (dharma) is destroyed and those contemplating on the Brahman incessantly and the ‘great’ spiritual aspirants give up the path of well-being of the world and become victims of sense enjoyment or ambition to earn name and fame. Then suffering will increase every single day. The whole world will bask in peace and joy only when everyone — leaders of countries and spiritual aspirants alike — realize the righteous path and ponder the omnipotence of the Lord. El Atma no tiene nacimiento ni muerte. Es similar a la raíz de un árbol, que sostiene sus ramas, hojas, flores y frutos. El Atma es la base sobre la cual descansa la superestructura de la vida. La vida humana es noble, sagrada y preciosa. Cada cuerpo humano está constituido por los cinco elementos (Pancha Bhutas) y ustedes están rodeados por las cinco envolturas (Pancha koshas) - los alimentos (Annamaya), la fuerza vital (Pranamaya), la mente (Manomaya), la inteligencia (Vijnanamaya) y la envoltura de la Bienaventuranza (Anandamaya). Mientras que todas las demás especies vivientes tienen sólo las primeras tres envolturas, solamente los seres humanos tienen las cinco. Por lo tanto, encarnaciones de lo Divino, es el deber primordial de todos el luchar por alcanzar y experimentar esa realidad Divina. Deben estar siempre ansiosos por hacer acciones que produzcan el bienestar de todos los seres. Deben estar siempre dedicados al trabajo, sin preocupación alguna por el fruto del mismo. Sacrifiquen sus necesidades egoístas. Su deseo debe ser establecer el bienestar en el mundo. Que haya un esfuerzo constante por hacer el bien a los demás. Con todos estos sentimientos llenando el corazón, mediten en el Señor. Este es el camino correcto. Si todos están así dedicados al servicio de la humanidad, y a promover el bienestar del mundo, los ladrones tales como la pasión, el odio, el orgullo, la envidia, los celos y el engreimiento no invadirán la mente de las personas, y las posesiones divinas, como el dharma, la compasión, la verdad, el amor, el conocimiento y la sabiduría estarán a salvo de todo daño. Sacrifice your selfish needs. Your desire should be to establish the welfare of the world. Let there be constant effort to do good to others. También es un deber fundamental de todo el que haya tenido la fortuna de este nacimiento humano, reservar una parte de sus energías para, a intervalos, orar, repetir el nombre del Señor, meditar, etc. Todos deben equiparar a la vida con la verdad, la rectitud, la serenidad, y los buenos trabajos que sean de servicio a los demás. Debemos tener tanto temor de hacer actos dañinos para los demás, o que sean pecaminosos, como tenemos ahora de tocar el fuego o molestar a una cobra. Debemos tener tanto apego y dedicación a efectuar buenas tareas, hacer felices a los demás y adorar al Señor, como los tenemos ahora a acumular oro y riquezas. MENSAJE DEL DIA 13 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Deben ser cuidadosos incluso en los temas referentes a tomar conciencia de Dios. A pesar de cualquier inconveniente que podamos encontrar, debemos esforzarnos por llevar adelante las prácticas espirituales sin pausa ni modificación en las disciplinas. No debemos estar cambiando el nombre que hemos amado, abrigado y elegido para la remembranza (smarana). La concentración es imposible si el nombre es cambiado cada pocos días. La mente no logrará enfocarse en un punto. Toda disciplina espiritual tiene este enfoque en un punto como su meta final. Por eso, eviten la constante adopción y rechazo de nombres y formas del Señor. Un solo nombre debe ser usado a lo largo de la repetición del nombre (japa) y la meditación. También tenemos que lograr la firme convicción de que todos los nombres y formas del Señor no son más que el nombre y la forma que estamos repitiendo. El nombre y la forma que han elegido no deben dar la menor sensación de disgusto o descontento. (Prema Vahini, Capítulo 64) You must be careful even in matters relating to the realisation of God. Whatever inconveniences one may encounter, one must try to carry on spiritual practices without any break or modification in the disciplines. One should not be changing the name that one has loved, cherished and selected for remembrance (smarana). Concentration is impossible if the name is changed once every few days. The mind won’t attain one-pointedness. All spiritual discipline has this one-pointedness as its ultimate aim. Therefore, avoid constant adoption and rejection of names and forms of the Lord. Estén siempre conscientes de que la entrega del cargo es inminente. Esperen ese momento con alegría. Estén listos para ese evento. Tengan sus cuentas al día, y el balance calculado para ser presentado. Traten a todas las cosas que se han puesto bajo su control, con cuidado y diligencia. He has to hand over the items when he is transferred or retired. Treat all things with which you are endowed just as the headmaster treats the furniture. Be always aware that the final checking-up is imminent. Wait for that moment with joy. Be ready for that event. Have your accounts up to date and the balance already calculated to be handed over. Aquí es el miedo lo que hace enfocar a la mente en un punto. Pero el amor es una fuerza más grande para lograr la concentración. Si tienen amor firme y decidido, la concentración se hace intensa e inamovible. La fe llega a ser amor, y el amor resulta en concentración. Y bajo esas condiciones, la oración comienza a dar frutos. Oren, manteniendo serenas todas las olas de la mente. Oren como un deber para su existencia misma, como la única justificación de haber venido al mundo como humanos. Narayana es el Señor del Agua (naaram significa agua). Pero ¿qué es el agua, de la cual Él es el Señor? Él reside en el corazón, y Su presencia, al ser reconocido, derrite hasta el corazón más pétreo; y el agua emana de los ojos como lágrimas de alegría, gratitud y plenitud. La función de sus lágrimas no es llorar como tontos o cobardes, sino expresar alegría interior. But Love is a greater force for achieving concentration. If you have steady and resolute love, concentration becomes intense and unshakeable. Faith develops into love, and love results in concentration. And under these conditions, prayer begins to yield fruit. Pray keeping all the waves of the mind stilled. Pray, as the performance of a duty for your very real existence, as the only justification for your coming into the world as a human. Narayana is the Lord of the Water (naaram means water). But what is the water of which He is the Lord of? He resides in the heart, and His presence when recognised melts even the stoniest heart, and water emanates from the eye as tears of joy, gratitude, and fullness! MENSAJE DEL DIA 10 de julio de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Primero el médico diagnostica la enfermedad, y después prescribe el tratamiento. Así también, ustedes deben someterse al diagnóstico de su enfermedad, vale decir las penurias, esfuerzos y dolores, a través de la autoindagación. Investiguen sin miedo y con cuidado, y hallarán que la naturaleza de ustedes es la bienaventuranza (ananda). Se han identificado falsamente con lo temporario, lo frívolo y lo mezquino, y ese apego produce dolor. Dénse cuenta de que tanto la alegría como la pena son fases pasajeras, como nubes en un cielo azul. Aprendan a tratar a la prosperidad y a la adversidad con ecuanimidad. Así como el pez sólo vive si está sumergido en el agua, el ser humano sólo vive si está inmerso en la bienaventuranza. Deben tener bienaventuranza en el hogar, en la sociedad y en el mundo, pero sobre todo en el corazón. El corazón es la fuente de la alegría. Esa fuente debe ser aprovechada mediante la constante recitación del Nombre del Señor, y la permanencia en Su Gloria. Nunca den cabida a la duda ni a la desesperación. So too, you must submit yourself to the diagnosis of your illness, viz. misery, travail, and pain through Self-Enquiry. Investigate fearlessly and with care, and you will find that your nature is bliss (ananda)! You have falsely identified yourself with the temporary, the frivolous and the paltry, and that attachment brings sorrow. Realise that both joy and sorrow are passing phases, like clouds across the blue sky. Learn to treat prosperity and adversity with equanimity. Just as fish lives only when it is immersed in water, so too human being lives only when immersed in bliss.
