PENSAMIENTO DEL DÍA – 29 DE NOVIEMBRE 2011

El apego al cuerpo produce sufrimientos de todo tipo y clase, y también sus precursores inmediatos – afecto y odio. Estos dos son los resultados de que el intelecto considere algunas cosas y condiciones como beneficiosas y otras no; esto es un engaño. A pesar del conocimiento de este hecho, hay momentos en que se apegan a objetos que consideran favorables y comienzan a detestar a los demás. Desde un punto de vista superior no existe esta diferencia – la distinción simplemente carece de sentido. No existen en absoluto dos; entonces, ¿cómo podría existir el bien y el mal? El ver dos en donde no hay sino uno es ignorancia (Maya). La ignorancia fundamental reside en la creencia de que son el cuerpo, y esta es la causa para todo sufrimiento. Practiquen el vivir en una concienciación divina en lugar de la conciencia corporal, libérese así del sufrimiento y vivan en la alegría.

Attachment to the body produces grief of all kinds and sorts, and its immediate precursors - affection and hatred as well. These two are the results of the intellect considering some things and conditions as beneficial, and others as not; this is a delusion. Despite the knowledge of this fact, at times, you get attached to objects that you consider favourable and start hating the others. From the highest point of view, there is neither; the distinction is just meaningless. There is no two at all; then how can there be good and bad? To see two where there is only one is ignorance (Maya). The fundamental ignorance is the belief that you are the body, and this is the cause for all grief. Practise to live in divine consciousness instead of body consciousness, and be free from grief and live in joy.
