No se preocupen por el ambiente insatisfactorio en que se puedan encontrar. Cierto es que a veces el lugar en que se hallan puede tener desventajas y no ser ideal. Mas no sirve de nada tratar de huir de él. Pueden superar cualquier obstáculo entrenando su propia mente. Quédense en su ambiente y pídan al Señor que les llene con Sus pensamientos y visión, permitiéndoles ignorar los defectos de su entorno. No busquen comodidad, porque puede no ser propicia para la meditación. Aprendan a sentirse cómodos en cualquier lugar; eso es mejor. Vivan con alegría en dondequiera que estén porque esa es la vía. ¡Deléitense en el ámbito de su mente, veneren allí al Señor que hayan elegido como su meta y deslíguense de todos los defectos de su ambiente natural o humano! De este modo no habrá sitio que les resulte molesto, ni lugar que les parezca desagradable.

Do not worry about the unsatisfactory environment you may be in. Of course, sometimes the place you are in may have drawbacks and may not be ideal. But it is of no use trying to run away from it. You can overcome any obstacle by training your own mind. Stay in your environment and pray to the Lord that He may fill you with His thoughts and vision, enabling you to ignore the defects of your surroundings. Do not seek comfort, for it might not be conducive to meditation. Learn to be comfortable in any place; that is better. Live in joy wherever you are for that is the way. Revel in the realm of your mind, worship there the Lord you have chosen as your goal and be free of all the defects of your natural or human environment! Then no spot will be irksome to you, nor will any place seem disgusting.

Earn the qualifications - holiness, purity faith and universal love - then He will approach you on foot, to console, comfort and save. If you have purity of heart and mastery over the senses, His Grace is your right.

Una vez que Swami estaba dando a la padanamaskaram Sevadal del estado de Karnataka. A Sevadal de algún otro estado se unió a la Sevadal Karnataka a tomar padanamaskaram Swami. Swami mientras se mueve entre las líneas dando padanamaskaram a la Sevadal llegó a este señor y le preguntó a qué Estado pertenece. El Sevadal con vacilación, dijo Karnatak Swami. Swami while moving between the lines giving padanamaskaram to the sevadal came to this gentleman and asked him as to which state he belongs to. The sevadal with slight hesitation said Karnatak Swami. Then Swami said ‘Kar-Natak’ and moved ahead. Nothing is hidden from Swami.
