PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 2 DE NOVIEMBRE 2011

Desechen el Para chitana (pensar en otros) y cultiven el Paramatma chitana (pensar en Dios). Esta es la verdadera práctica espiritual (Sadhana). No se dejen arrastrar por los placeres mundanos. Tomen por la senda sagrada y santifiquen su tiempo entonando el Divino Nombre. No hay necesidad de fijar una hora o lugar para el Namasmarana (repetición del Nombre del Señor). Lo pueden hacen en dondequiera que se encuentren y sea lo que fuere que estén haciendo. Uno requiere pagar gabelas por el agua, la electricidad etc., mas no hay pago por el Namasmarana. Nadie les puede impedir hacerlo. Es muy simple y, sin embargo, sumamente eficaz. Aunque la gente no se da cuenta del valor del Namasmarana porque es tan fácil de practicar. Pensamos que Dios puede alcanzarse únicamente a través de rigurosas austeridades. Eso es una equivocación. Sin que se molesten ni le causen molestias a otros, pueden entonar el divino nombre. Sigan esta simple senda, experimenten bienaventuranza y santifiquen su vida.

Give up Para chintana (thinking about others) and cultivate Paramatma chintana (thinking about God). This is the true spiritual practice (Sadhana). Do not be carried away by worldly pleasures. Take to the sacred path and sanctify your time by chanting the Divine Name. There is no need to allocate a specific time or place for Namasmarana (repetition of the Lord’s name). You can do it wherever you are and whatever you are doing. One needs to pay tax for water, electricity, etc., but there is no tax for Namasmarana. Nobody can stop you from doing it. It is very simple, yet most effective. But people do not realise the value of Namasmarana as it is so easy to practise. We think that God can be attained only through severe austerities. This is a misconception. Without troubling yourself or causing trouble to others, you can chant the divine name. Follow this simple path, experience bliss and sanctify your life.
