Así como el pez sólo puede vivir inmerso en el agua, también el hombre es un animal que puede vivir bien sólo inmerso en la ventura (Ananda). Uno debe tener Ananda no sólo en el hogar y la sociedad sino, lo que es más importante, también en el corazón. De hecho, el Ananda en el corazón dispersa alegría en todo el entorno. El corazón es el surtidor de dicha que ha de ser cargado con la constante meditación, la recitación y el intermitente apoyo en la gloria, la gracia y las manifestaciuones del Señor (Smarana, Chethana y Manana). Sin dar lugar a dudas o desesperanza, concéntrense en la meta y nunca vuelvan atrás. Quien sea devoto de Dios no conoce el fracaso. El Nombre del Señor, si se toma sinceramente, les ayudará a superar todos los obstáculos. Si el Salvador está a su lado, ¿por qué dudan si han de ser salvados?

Just as fish can live only when it is immersed in water, so too man is an animal that can live well only when immersed in bliss (Ananda). One must have Ananda not only at home and society but more importantly, in the heart as well. In fact the Ananda in the heart spreads joy all around. The heart is the spring of bliss which has to be charged by constant meditation, recitation and the intermittent dwelling on the glory, the grace and the manifestations of the Lord (Smarana, Chethana and Manana). Without giving way to doubt or despair, hold fast to the goal and never turn back. The one devoted to God knows no failure. The Name of the Lord, if taken sincerely will help you overcome all obstacles. When the Saviour is by your side, why doubt whether you will be saved?

Una vez un devoto anciano estaba sentado en la parte superior del antiguo Mandir de Prashanti,y le pregunto a Swami si podría extender su vida por otros 20 años más . Todo el mundo estaba sorprendido por la inesperada pregunta, por la que muchos de nosotros podría haber estado orando desde dentro, y nadie se lo había pedido directamente a Bhagavan.
Bhagavan dio una sonrisa maravillosa y le preguntó a la persona la razón detrás de su pedido .
El devoto dijo: "Swami, he llegado a usted en una fase muy tardía de la vida. Si tan sólo me dieras otros 20 años de vida, me gustaría hacer Sadhana y alcanzar Kaivalyam ".
Swami de nuevo con una sonrisa pícara dijo: "¿Se requiere 20 años para hacer eso?. ¿Necesita todas las cerillas en la caja de fósforos para encender una estufa? ¿No es uno suficiente para hacer eso?

Once an elderly Devotee sitting in the Upper Portion of the old Prasanthi Mandir asked Swami to extend his life by another 20 years beyond his life span. Everyone was surprised by this unexpected question which even though many of us might have been praying from within, no one had asked Bhagawan directly.
Bhagawan gave a Wonderful smile and asked the person for the reason behind him asking such a boon of extension of life for another 20 years.
The devotee replied “Swami I have come to you at a very late stage of life. If only you give me another 20 years of life span, I would do Sadhana and attain Kaivalyam”.
Swami again with a mischievous smile said “Do you require 20 years for doing that?. Do you require all the match sticks in the match box to light a stove? Is one match stick not sufficient to do that? Similarly if you pray intensely for a minute you can attain liberation for that do you require 20 years?”.

Dios está obligado por los lazos del amor . Los padres podrán abandonarlos; un hermano podría tomar las armas contra otro hermano, una hermana podría escapar sin el reconocimiento de otra hermana, los niños podrían no venerar ni siquiera reconocer a sus padres.
