¿Cuál es la única enfermedad en nosotros de la que debemos esforzarnos para eliminarla y cómo lo hacemos? Bhagavan nos da un ejemplo memorable hoy y explica.

Si tenemos un forúnculo en el cuerpo, le aplicamos un poco de ungüento y lo cubrimos con un vendaje hasta que esté completamente curado. Si no aplican el ungüento y atan el vendaje a su alrededor, es posible que se infecte y cause un gran daño más adelante. De vez en cuando, tendremos que limpiarlo con agua pura, volver a aplicar el ungüento y colocarle un vendaje nuevo. De la misma manera, también en nuestra vida hay un forúnculo que ha estallado en nuestro cuerpo en la forma de este sentimiento: “yo”, “yo”, “yo”. Si realmente quieren curar este forúnculo del “yo”, deben lavarlo todos los días con las aguas del amor, aplicarle el ungüento de la fe y amarrar el vendaje de la humildad a su alrededor. Qual é a única doença em nós que devemos nos esforçar para eliminar e como fazemos isso? Bhagavan nos dá um exemplo memorável hoje e explica.

Se houver um furúnculo no corpo, nós passamos um pouco de pomada e o cobrimos com uma atadura, até que esteja totalmente curado. Se você não passar pomada no furúnculo e amarrá-lo com uma atadura, é possível que a situação se agrave e cause um dano maior, mais tarde. Esporadicamente, temos que limpá-lo com água pura, passar pomada novamente e colocar uma atadura nova. Da mesma maneira, na nossa vida também existe um furúnculo, que eclodiu no nosso corpo na forma dos sentimentos de ‘eu, eu, eu’. Se você realmente quiser curar esse furúnculo causado pelo ‘eu’, deverá lavá-lo todos os dias com as águas do amor, passar a pomada da fé e amarrá-lo com a atadura da humildade. A atadura da humildade, a pomada da fé e as águas do amor poderão curar esta enfermidade, que eclodiu desse furúnculo do ‘eu’. (Discurso Divino, 17 de fevereiro de 1985)

What is the one disease in us we must strive to rid ourselves of, and how do we do it? Bhagawan gives us a memorable example today and explains.

If there is a boil on the body, we apply some ointment on it and cover it with a bandage until it completely heals. If you do not apply the ointment and tie the bandage around this boil, it is likely to become septic and cause great harm later on. Now and then we will have to clean it with pure water, apply the ointment again, and put on a new bandage. In the same way, in our life too there is this boil which has erupted in our body in the form of this feeling, 'I, I, I'. If you want to really cure this boil of this 'I', you must wash it every day with the waters of love, apply the ointment of faith on it and tie the bandage of humility around it.
