MENSAJE DEL DIA 04 de enero de 2016 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Muchos personajes modernos de poca inteligencia quedan intrigados por el sentido de todas las construcciones y condiciones, convenciones y costumbres que giran alrededor del templo. No pueden captar el significado de ninguna respuesta porque está más allá de su entendimiento limitado. A un enfermo que sufre de fiebre alta le resultan amargas hasta las cosas dulces; de la misma manera, aquellos afectados por la fiebre elevada de lo mundano nunca pueden saborear la verdadera dulzura de la verdad. La fiebre debe ceder, y entonces pueden apreciar el valor de lo espiritual. Igualmente, si se niegan la dicha proveniente de la entrega al Señor, y andan desenfrenadamente para un lado y otro en pos de lugares santos, hombres sabios y ríos sagrados ¿cómo se los puede ayudar? ¡Cultiven al menos un gramo de devoción pura! ¡Eso es suficiente para que despierten de ese engaño! La devoción les va a enseñar que solamente pueden obtener paz regresando a su hogar natal, que es Dios, que habita dentro de ustedes. Hasta entonces, ¡se verán acosados por un sentimiento de destierro! (Dharma Vahini,Cap. 12) Many dull-witted moderns are puzzled at the purpose of all the constructions and conditions, conventions and customs that revolve around the temple. They cannot grasp the significance of any answer because it is beyond their limited understanding. A patient suffering from high fever will find even sweet things bitter; so too, those afflicted with the high fever of worldliness can never taste the real sweetness of truth. The fever must subside; then they can appreciate the value of the things of the spirit. Similarly if you deny yourself of the bliss derivable from surrender to the Lord, and run about madly pursuing sacred spots, sages, and holy rivers, how can you be helped? Cultivate an ounce of pure devotion! That is sufficient for you to be awakened from this delusion! Devotion will teach you that you can attain peace only by returning to your own native home, which is God within you. Until then, homesickness will haunt!
