MENSAJE DEL DIA 03 de enero de 2016 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Lo importante no es adquirir la habilidad de discutir sino ser perseverantes, ecuánimes y poder librarse de simpatías y antipatías. ¿Por qué es que uno emprende disciplinas espirituales tales como los cánticos de salmos, la meditación, el canto devocional, etc.?¿No es acaso para lograr la perseverancia y fijar la mente en un objetivo único? Una vez logrado ese objetivo, el esfuerzo humano se vuelve innecesario; el significado interno de la vida queda revelado. Así es que aquellos que están ansiosos de convertirse en aspirantes espirituales no deben ceder a la tentación de entrar en argumentos en pro y en contra de todo. No deben ser seducidos por los ardides de los malos presentimientos. Deben ver sus propios errores y no repetirlos una y otra vez. Deben proteger el objetivo que han logrado, con la vista fija en la meta que persiguen, desechando como si fuera basura cualquier dificultad, derrota o perturbación que hallen en el camino. Deben insistir en temas que les proporcionen entusiasmo y gozo, y no desperdiciar tiempo valioso generando dudas sobre todas las cosas, grandes o pequeñas. (Prema Vahini, Cap 45) What is important is not the acquisition of argumentativeness but the acquisition of single-mindedness, equanimity, and freedom from likes and dislikes. Why does one undertake these spiritual disciplines, this chanting, meditation, devotional singing, etc.? Isn’t it for acquiring single-mindedness and one-pointedness? Once that one-pointedness has been earned, human effort becomes unnecessary; the inner significance of life gets revealed. So those eager to become spiritual aspirants, should not yield to arguments and counterarguments. They should not be enticed by the wiles of bad feeling. They should see their own faults and not repeat them again. They should guard and protect the one-pointedness they have acquired, with their eyes fixed on the goal they are after, dismissing as trash whatever difficulties, defeats, and disturbances they encounter on their path. They must dwell on subjects that would give enthusiasm and joy, and not waste valuable time building up doubts regarding all things, big and small.
