PENSAMIENTO DEL DÍA – 13 DE DICIEMBRE 2011

La gente realiza actos impusada por el deseo de sus frutos; si un acto no rindiera los resultados deseados, no lo repetirán más. Beneficios, ganancia, recompensa, resultado – el hombre sólo busca eso. Mas esta regla no se aplica a quienes toman el Geetha en sus manos para beber el néctar del mensaje del Señor. No todos anhelan el néctar, por ende, si ustedes lo buscaran, es evidente que aspiran a la alegría eterna y la liberación. Entonces habrán de pagar el precio de renunciar al deseo por el fruto de sus acciones, y dedicarle todo a los pies de lo Divino. Desistan del pecado, la injusticia y el vicio. No insulten a los mayores, no se alejen de los virtuosos ni hieran el respeto por sí mismos de los buenos. Dedíquense a la causa de establecer el Shanti y el Soukhya (paz y prosperidad) en el mundo, y aunque tengan que luchar, realicen que la justicia ciertamente ha de triunfar.

People perform acts prompted by the desire for the fruits thereof; if an act does not yield desired results, they will not do the act thenceforth. Profit, gain, reward, result - man seeks these alone. But this rule does not apply to those who take the Geetha in their hands to drink the nectar of the Lord's message. Not all do yearn for the nectar; and if you do, it is evident that you aspire for eternal joy and liberation. Then you must pay the price of giving up the desire for the fruits of your actions, and dedicate everything at the feet of the Divine. Desist from sin, injustice and vice. Do not insult elders, desert the virtuous, and wound the self-respect of the good. Dedicate yourself to the cause of establishing Santhi and Soukhya (peace and plenty) in the world, and even if you must struggle, realize that justice is bound to win.
