PENSAMIENTO DEL DÍA – 4 DE DICIEMBRE 2011

Generalmente, la gente no busca sino felicidad y alegría; ¡bajo ninguna circunstancia desean desdicha o sufrimiento! Trata a la felicidad y la alegría como a sus amigos más estimados y a la desdicha y al sufrimiento como a sus enemigos jurados. Esto es un grave error. Cuando se sienten felices, es grande el riesgo del pesar; el temor de perder la felicidad les acosará. La desdicha mueve a la indagación, la discriminación, el auto-examen y el temor ante cosas peores que pudieran suceder. Les despierta de la pereza y la vanidad. Enfrenten las dualidades de la vida con thithksha (fortaleza). Mas pongan atención, thithksha difiere de la paciencia (sahana). La paciencia implica soportar, tolerar o permitir algo, porque no tienen otra opción. La fortaleza es tener la capacidad de superarlo, pasándolo por alto – esa es la disciplina espiritual. El soportar al mundo exterior de la dualidad con ecuanimidad y paz internas, respresenta la senda que les llevará a la liberación. Sopórtenlo todo con discernimiento analítico – este tipo de paciencia rendirá buenos resultados.

Generally, people seek only happiness and joy; under no circumstance do they desire misery and grief! They treat happiness and joy as their closest well-wishers, and misery and grief as their sworn enemies. This is a great mistake. When you are happy, the risk of grief is great; fear of losing the happiness will haunt you. Misery prompts inquiry, discrimination, self-examination and fear of worse things that might happen. It awakens you from sloth and conceit. Face the dualities of life with thithiksha (fortitude). But be aware, thithiksha is different from patience (Sahana). Patience is putting up with something; tolerating or bearing with it because you have no other choice. Fortitude is having the capacity to overcome it, but yet, disregarding it - that is the spiritual discipline. Putting up with the external world of duality with inner equanimity and peace is the path that will lead you to liberation. Bear all, with analytical discrimination - this type of patience will yield good results.

Si usted plantea la pregunta de "¿Dónde está Dios?" algunas personas dicen, "Él está en mí", apuntando a su cuerpo. El cuerpo no es permanente. Por lo tanto, esto no es una respuesta adecuada. Cuando digo que la flor está en mi mano, la flor es más pequeño que yo. De la misma manera, cuando usted dice que Dios está en usted, usted es más grande que Dios! De hecho, todo el mundo está en manos de Dios. Por lo tanto, no es correcto decir que Dios está en ti. Usted está en Dios. Todos están en Dios. El mundo mismo es una manifestación de Dios. Esta es la Verdad Trascendental. Esta es la verdad inmutable.

You are not in God, God is in you, This is the Greatest Truth - Bhagawan

If you pose a question as to "Where is God?" some people will say, "He is in me", pointing to their body. Body is not permanent. Hence, this is not a proper answer. When I say the flower is in My hand, the flower is smaller than Me. In the same manner, when you say God is in you, you are bigger than God! In fact, the whole world is in the hands of God. Hence, it is not proper to say that God is in you. You are in God. All are in God. The world itself is a manifestation of God. This is the Transcendental Truth. This is the changeless truth.
