MENSAJE DEL DIA 07 de noviembre de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Algunos profesan que como estamos en el Kali yuga, sólo puede triunfar la falsedad. ¡No! A pesar de todas las apariencias, la honestidad es todavía la mejor política. Una mentira debe ser expresada por cientos de otras personas; mientras que expresar la verdad es lo más fácil, seguro y simple. Sean lo que declaran ser; digan lo que piensan hacer; expresen lo que han experimentado; ni más, ni menos. Es un trabajo duro mantener una posición falsa, mientras que siempre es seguro ser recto y honesto. No den el primer paso en falso y luego sean llevados, más y más, a la perdición. La verdad es su verdadera naturaleza y cuando son ustedes mismos, los inunda una alegría que brota dentro de ustedes. Cuando ustedes se niegan y se engañan a ustedes mismos, la vergüenza les oscurece la mente y les engendra miedo. Toman el camino de la mentira debido a las pasiones rajásicas de la lujuria, la codicia, el odio y el orgullo. El contento, la humildad y el desapego - estas virtudes los mantienen en el camino de la Verdad. (Divino Discurso, 24 de octubre de 1965). Some profess that since this is Kali yuga, falsehood alone can succeed. No! In spite of all appearances, honesty is still the best policy. One lie must be couched by a hundred others; whereas uttering truth is the easiest, simplest and safest. Be what you profess to be; speak what you intend to do; utter what you have experienced; no more, no less. It is a hard job to maintain a false stand, while it is always safe to be straight and honest. Do not take the first false step and then be led, on and on, to perdition. Truth is one's real nature and when you are yourself, there comes a great flood of joy welling up within you. When you deny and deceive yourself, shame darkens your mind and breeds fear. You take the path of falsehood because of the Rajasik passions of lust, greed, hate and pride. Contentment, humility and detachment - these keep you on the path of Truth. MENSAJE DEL DIA 06 de noviembre de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM El trabajo incesante de cada día tiene como objetivo y justificación esta consumación: hacer nuestros últimos días dulces y agradables. Pero cada día también tiene su noche. Si el día transcurre en la realización de buenas acciones, entonces la noche nos bendice con un sueño profundo, tonificante y refrescante, el sueño del que se dice que es similar al samadhi. Sólo se tiene un corto lapso de vida en la tierra. Pero incluso en esta corta vida uno puede alcanzar la bienaventuranza divina utilizando el tiempo sabia y cuidadosamente. Dos personas pueden ser iguales en apariencia, y podrían haber sido ostensiblemente del mismo origen y crecido en las mismas condiciones, pero una podría llegar a ser un ángel mientras que la otra permanece con su naturaleza animal. ¿Cuál es la razón de este desarrollo diferencial? Son los hábitos, el comportamiento que se conforma a través de estos hábitos y el carácter en que ese comportamiento se ha solidificado. Las personas son criaturas de carácter. De ahí que la primera práctica espiritual (sadhana) sea la búsqueda de las faltas y debilidades dentro de ustedes mismos y el esfuerzo por corregirlas para llegar a ser perfectos. (Prema Vahini, Capítulo 5). The unceasing toil of each succeeding day has as its aim and justification this consummation: to make one’s last days sweet and pleasant. But each day also has its evening. If the day is spent in good deeds, then the evening blesses us with deep, invigorating and refreshing sleep, the sleep about which it is said that it is akin to samadhi. One has only a short span of life on earth. But even in this short life one can attain divine bliss by using the time wisely and carefully. Two people may be same in appearance, and might have ostensibly been of the same mould and also grown under the same conditions, but one could turn out to be an angel while the other stays on with their animal nature. What’s the reason for this differential development? It is habits, the behaviour formed out of these habits, and the character into which that behaviour has solidified. People are creatures of character. Hence the very first spiritual practice (sadhana) is to search for the faults and weaknesses within yourself and to strive to correct them to become perfect. MENSAJE DEL DIA 05 de noviembre de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Krishna dice en el Gita: "En todos los yajñas, soy el Hacedor, el Donante, el Consumidor y el Aceptador". Esa es la razón por la que el sumo sacerdote en un yajña, lleva el nombre de Brahma. Él debe guiar al resto de los ritualistas con su esposa a su lado, o de lo contrario, sus credenciales son inadecuadas. La esposa representa a la fe (shraddha). Sin fe, la alabanza es hueca, la adoración es artificial y el sacrificio es un ejercicio estéril. Realmente hablando, el corazón es el altar ceremonial, el cuerpo es la chimenea, el pelo es la hierba santa (darbha), los deseos son la leña que alimenta el fuego, el deseo es el ghee que se vierte en el fuego para hacerlo estallar en llamas, la ira es el animal para el sacrificio, y el fuego es el tapas (penitencia) que logramos. La gente a veces interpreta los tapas como prácticas ascéticas tales como pararse de cabeza. Esto no es correcto; tapas no es contorsión física. Es la coordinación completa y correcta de pensamiento, palabra y obra. Cuando esto se logra, el esplendor Divino se manifestará. - Divino Discurso, 02 de octubre de 1981 Krishna says in the Gita, “In all yajnas, I am the Doer, the Donor, the Consumer and the Acceptor.” That is the reason the chief priest in a yajna, is named Brahma. He must guide the rest of the ritualists with his wife by his side, or else, his credentials are inadequate. The wife represents faith (shraddha). Without faith, praise is hollow, adoration is artificial and sacrifice is a barren exercise. Really speaking, the heart is the ceremonial altar, the body is the fire-place, the hair is the holy grass (darbha), wishes are the fuel-sticks to feed the fire, desire is the ghee poured into the fire to make it burst into flame, anger is the sacrificial animal, and the fire is the tapas (penance) we accomplish. People sometimes interpret tapas as ascetic practices like standing on the head. This is not correct; tapas is not physical contortion. It is the complete and correct coordination of thought, word and deed.
