MENSAJE DEL DIA 03 de noviembre de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Hoy la gente desperdicia gran parte de sus preciosas vidas entreteniéndose en vanos chismorreos, y presenciando escenas de violencia y crueldad. Muchos ignoran que el tiempo santificado por el servicio ofrece elevadas recompensas para sí mismos y para aquellos a quienes sirven. No todos los actos de servicio son igualmente santificantes, ni uniformes en cuanto a los beneficios que confieren. Cuando el servicio es emprendido por personas hambrientas de poder, o por obligación, o por impulsos imitativos, resulta en más daño que beneficio. Un sincero aspirante que inicia un servicio debe evitar el egoísmo (ahamkara), el exhibicionismo (adambara) y el favoritismo (abhimana). Antes de embarcarse en un proyecto de servicio, hagan una introspección y examinen si sus corazones están llenos de amor desinteresado, humildad y compasión; si su cabeza está llena de comprensión inteligente del problema y su solución; si sus manos están ansiosas de ofrecer el toque sanador; y si pueden ustedes gustosamente dedicar tiempo, energía y habilidad para auxiliar a quienes están en necesidad extrema. (Discurso Divino, 21 de noviembre de 1986) Today people are wasting a big portion of their precious lives by indulging in flimsy gossip and watching scenes of violence and cruelty. Many are unaware that time sanctified by service offers high rewards to themselves as well as to those they serve. All acts of service are not equally sanctifying or uniform in the benefits they confer. When service is undertaken by power-hungry people, or under compulsion or by imitative urges, it results in more harm than good. A sincere aspirant undertaking service must avoid egotism (ahamkara), exhibitionism (adambara) and favouritism (abhimana). Before embarking on a service project, introspect and examine whether your heart is full of selfless love, humility and compassion, whether your head is full of intelligent understanding and knowledge of the problem and its solution, whether your hands are eager to offer the healing touch, and whether you can gladly spare and share time, energy and skill to help those in dire need. MENSAJE DEL DIA 02 de noviembre de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM La libertad desenfrenada es destructiva para el Dharma, y daña también a la mujer misma. Mezclarse en la sociedad sin discernimiento alguno produce resultados ruinosos. Por supuesto que hubo mujeres educadas en el pasado, pero ellas nunca abandonaron su Dharma; nunca olvidaron la meta del Dharma átmico. La educación debe edificarse sobre la base del discernimiento. En este país de Dios (Bharata-desa) nacieron Sulabha, Savitri, Anasuya, Gargi, Nalayani y otros modelos de castidad como ellas; también devotas del Señor como Meera, o yoguinis como Chudala. Ellas reforzaron al Dharma mediante su adherencia al mismo. Es debido a los ejemplos de tales mujeres grandes y santas, con su carácter y conducta inspirados por la devoción y la sabiduría espiritual, que aún hoy en día, la simplicidad, la humildad y la devoción brillan en los corazones de la mayor parte de las mujeres indias. Hoy las mujeres deben inspirarse en ellas, y esforzarse por vivir como ellas lo hicieron en el pasado. (Dharma Vahini, Capítulo 5) Unbridled freedom is destructive of dharma, and it also harms the woman herself. Mixing in society without any discrimination produces ruinous results. Of course there were educated women in the past, but they never gave up their dharma, they never forgot the goal of Atmic dharma. Education must be built on the basis of discrimination. Sulabha, Savitri, Anasuya, Gargi, Nalayani, and other such models of chastity, and devotees of the Lord like Meera or yoginis like Chudala, were born in this country of God (Bharatha-desa); they strengthened dharma by their adherence to it. It is through the examples of such great and holy women, with their character and conduct inspired by devotion and spiritual wisdom, that even today simplicity, humility, and devotion shine in the hearts of most Indian women. Today, women should draw inspiration from them and efforts must be made to live as they did in the past. MENSAJE DEL DIA 01 de noviembre de 2015 Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam OM SRI SAI RAM Dedíquense a actividades puras, con corazones puros, y gánense una buena reputación. Lo que tienen que ofrecerme es el buen nombre que se hayan ganado. Esta es la suprema expresión de su gratitud. No tienen que traer una mala reputación, bajo ninguna circunstancia. Aunque no logren ser de ayuda para los demás, no les causen daño. Los estudiantes, y todos los aspirantes espirituales, deben abrigar con gratitud en sus corazones el bien que les han hecho los demás, y recordar siempre la ayuda que han recibido, de cualquier manera que haya sido prestada. Sólo quienes llevan vidas así de agradecidas serán capaces de hallar paz y felicidad en sus vidas. Deseo que todos ustedes piensen constantemente en Dios, prosigan haciendo servicio social, lleven vidas familiares ideales, y disfruten de paz y felicidad. Esta es Mi bendición para todos ustedes. (Discurso Divino, 25 de diciembre de 1991). Engage yourselves in pure activities with pure hearts and earn a good name. What you have to offer to Me is the good name earned by you. This is the highest expression of your gratitude. In no circumstances should you bring a bad name. Even if you fail to be helpful to others, do not cause harm to others. Students and all spiritual aspirants should cherish in their hearts with gratitude the good done to them by others and always remember the help rendered to them, in whatever form it may be. Only those who lead such grateful lives will be able to find peace and happiness in their lives. I desire that all of you should constantly think of God, continue to render social service, lead ideal family lives and enjoy peace and happiness. This is My benediction for all of you.
