A menudo preparamos laddus (una exquisitez india) y su principal ingrediente es la harina de garbanzo de Bengala. ¿Alguna vez han probado esa harina? En sí misma, no da ningún gusto; es porque le agregamos azúcar a la harina, que esta exquisitez adquiere su sabor especial. De la misma forma, alguna gente prepara postres especiales con harina de trigo molida (rava), que en sí no tiene gusto. Se vuelve dulce cuando se le agrega azúcar. Y así es con distintos postres, en los que el ingrediente básico y elemento común es el azúcar. Como en esta analogía, en todas las cosas y la gente que vemos a nuestro alrededor en el mundo, la dulzura divina es el componente común. De igual manera, en todos está el aspecto de Verdad, Sabiduría y Felicidad. Por lo tanto, denle importancia al aspecto de la Divinidad (Brahman). No fomenten la ilusión del apego al cuerpo, porque así no podrán entender el aspecto real de la Divinidad (Brahman). (Lluvias de Verano en Brindavan, 1974, Vol.1, Cap.4)
Often we prepare laddus (Indian delicacy) and its main ingredient is Bengal gram flour. Have you ever tasted this flour? The flour, by itself, cannot give any taste - it is because we add sugar to the flour, the delicacy acquires a special taste. Similarly, some people prepare special sweets with broken wheat powder (rava) which by itself has no taste. It acquires sweetness when sugar is added to it. Thus in all the various sweets, the basic ingredient and common aspect is sugar. Like in this analogy, in all things and people we see around us in the world, divine sweetness is the common constituent. Similarly in everyone there is this aspect of Truth, Wisdom and Bliss. Therefore, attach importance to the aspect of Divinity (Brahman). Do not promote the illusion of attachment to the body, because then you will not be able to understand the real aspect of Divinity (Brahman). (Summer Showers in Brindavan 1974, Vol 1, Ch 4)
