El ser Universal existe como los cinco elementos. Él es el aliento que sustenta la vida en todos los seres. Él es el fuego que lo ilumina todo. Él es la lluvia que nutre las plantas que proveen de sustento a todos. Por ende, Él puede ser venerado como habiendo asumido benignamente todas estas benéficas formas. Este acceso a través de estas manifestaciones de los diferentes hechos y aspectos de la vida es la Senda Angavathi. 'Anga' significa un 'miembro', un 'hecho' o un 'aspecto'. El representar lo Divino multifacético y simbolizar de manera perceptible los atributos revelados en cada faceta, es la Senda Anyavathi. Por ejemplo, la faceta a la que se le atribuye el poder y la disposición para superar obstáculos es el Señor Vighneswara, cuyo colmillo único simboliza agudeza y concentración. Los buscadores meditan en estas gratas personificaciones y en la importancia de los símbolos de sus atributos y veneran a lo Divino en el gozo que brota en sus corazones. Esto se denomina como la Senda Anyavathi – la senda a través de la Divinidad simbolizada.

The Universal being is the five elements. He is the breath that sustains life in all beings. He is the fire that illumines all. He is the rain that feeds the plants that provide sustenance to all. So, He can be adored as having graciously assumed all these beneficent forms. This approach through the benign manifestations of the various facts and features of life is the Angavathi path. ‘Anga’ means a ‘limb’, a ‘fact’, or a ‘feature’. Picturing the many-faceted Divine and symbolising, in perceivable ways, the attributes that are evidenced in each facet, is the Anyavathi Path. For instance, the facet to which is ascribed the power and willingness to overcome obstacles is Lord Vighneswara, whose single tusk symbolizes sharpness and concentration. Seekers meditate on these pleasing personifications and the significance of the symbols of their attributes and adore the Divine in the delight that wells up in their hearts. This is named the Anyavathi Path—the path through symbolized Divinity.

Las mujeres son grandes porque muestran el camino correcto para el hombre.
Ellas son, de hecho, la luz de la sabiduría en el mundo. Por lo tanto, merecen protección y respeto. Sita simboliza jnana Tattwa (principio de la sabiduría).


Sita le dijo a Rama que la bondad era universal, sin distinción de casta, credo, o comunidad. Es a causa de las mujeres como Sita que los hombres han hecho progresos en la vida.

The Great Wisdom of Mother Sita


Sita tendered wise counsel to Rama and advised Him not to destroy all the demons. She suggested that only those who committed the evil deeds should be punished. Justice does not lie in destroying the entire clan. Women are great because they show the right path to man. They are, in fact, the light of wisdom in the world. 

They, therefore, deserve protection and reverence. Sita symbolizes jnana tattwa (principle of wisdom). Sita told Rama that goodness was universal, regardless of caste, creed and community. It is because of women like Sita that men have made progress in life.

PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 29 DE SEPTIEMBRE 2011

Para concentrarse efectivamente, fijen su atención en una forma que les de alegría. Siéntense en la pose del Padmasana (loto) y fijen la mirada en la punta de su nariz. Al comienzo practiquen la meditación por un minuto; luego por tres minutos. Unos pocos días después inténtenlo por seis minutos, y algo más adelante por tanto como nueve minutos. De este modo la concentración ha de ir fortaleciéndose gradualmente, sin un apuro indebido. Con lentitud, la mente podrá ser centrada hasta por media hora. La disciplina ha de ir desarrollándose lenta y constantemente. Con la práctica, la mente se irá estabilizando y aumentará el poder de concentración. Para alcanzar la concentración y el ajuste del objetivo, deben ejercitarse hasta cierto punto. Deben fijar la mente en el Señor y alejar todo otro pensamiento del plano mental. Con un constante ejercicio de este tipo, su visión se fijará firmemente en el Señor que reside en su corazón. Esto, en verdad, representa la meta, el fruto pleno de la meditación.

To concentrate effectively, fix your attention on a form that gives you joy. Sit in the Padmasana (lotus) pose and fix your eyes on the tip of your nose. In the beginning, practice meditation for a minute; then for three minutes. A few days later, try for six minutes and after some time, for as long as nine minutes. Thus, the concentration has to be strengthened gradually, without undue hurry. Slowly, the mind can be held for even half an hour. Slowly and steadily, the discipline must be developed. With practice, the mind will get fixed and the power of concentration will increase. To attain concentration and acquire one-pointedness, you must undergo exertion to some extent. You must fasten your mind on the Lord and keep off all other thoughts from the mental plane. By constant exercise of this type, your vision will be firmly fixed on the Lord residing in your heart. That is, verily, the goal, the full fruition of meditation.

Upasana significa la adquisición de la Presencia de lo Divino, el logro de la Bienaventuranza de la veneración. La tradición Védica aprueba cuatro sendas como legítimas y fructíferas para alcanzar este logro. Ellas se llaman Sathyavathi, Angavathi, Anyavathi y Nidaanavathi. Hoy nos ocuparemos del Sathyavathi. La escritura define a lo Divino así : "Sarva Vyaapinam Aatmaanam, Ksheere sarpith iva arpitham" – El Atma es inmanente por doquier, del mismo modo en que el ghee interpenetra cada gota de leche. Cuando el buscador persigue la Verdad con esta convicción impulsando su empresa, sus prácticas espirituales se denominan Sathyavathi (basadas en la Verdad). "Maayathitham idam sarvam, jagada-vyaktha moorthinaa", el Señor declara, "en Mi forma latente, estoy en la Creación entera, operando el misterio. Véanme en todo esto, vean todo esto como Yo". Cuando uno logra el éxito en este esfuerzo, la senda de Sathyavathi llevará a la victoria. "Yo seré visible para ti como todo esto y en todo esto", asegura el Señor. El Señor le promete esta visión de Inmanencia y de Trascendencia a quienquiera que persista con sinceridad por esta senda de Sathyavathi.

Upasana means the acquisition of the Presence of the Divine, the achievement of the Bliss of adoration. Vedic tradition sanctions four paths as legitimate and fruitful to win this achievement. They are called Sathyavathi, Angavathi, Anyavathi and Nidaanavathi. We shall consider the path of Sathyavathi today. The scripture defines the Divine thus: “Sarva Vyaapinam Aatmaanam, Ksheere sarpith iva arpitham”—The Atma is immanent everywhere, just as ghee inter-penetrates every drop of milk. When the seeker pursues the Truth with this conviction urging his endeavour, his spiritual practices are called Sathyavathi (Truth-based). “Maaya thitham idam sarvam, jagada-vyaktha moorthinaa,” the Lord declares. “In My latent form, I am in entire Creation, operating the mystery. See in Me all this, see all this as Me.” When one succeeds in this effort the Sathyavathi path will lead to success. “I shall be visible to you as all this and in all this,” the Lord assures. The Lord promises this vision of Immanence and Transcendence to whomsoever that persists with sincerity on this Sathyavathi path.

Dios no se enoja con nadie - Bhagavan


Dios parece estar enojado a veces. Pero, eso no es real. Con el fin de poner a los devotos en el camino correcto, Él pretende estar enojado. Si Él no actuara así, no habría ninguna posibilidad para los devotos de cambiar su comportamiento. El fingir estar enojado es un drama. Dios no tiene ningún rastro de ira en él. Cuando cometemos errores, o andamos por el camino equivocado, tenemos miedo de que Dios se enoje con nosotros.

Pero, Dios sólo pretende estar enojado en tales ocasiones para que tomen conciencia de sus propias faltas y deficiencias. 

Por ejemplo, cuando Swami esta lejos de ti, te sientes muy triste y crees que Swami no te está hablando, porque Él está enojado contigo. De hecho, Swami no sabe lo que es la ira. Él es la encarnación del amor. Él está lleno de amor. Sin embargo, en algunas raras ocasiones, cuando habla con dureza, puede ser mal interpretado, y pensar que Él está enojado .

God is never angry with anyone - Bhagawan

God appears to be angry at times. But, that is not real anger. In order to put the devotees on the right path, He pretends to be angry. If He does not pretend so, there is no chance for the devotees to change their behaviour. His pretending to be angry is just a drama. God has no trace of anger in Him. When we commit mistakes or tread the wrong path, we are afraid that God will be angry with us. 

But, God only pretends to be angry on such occasions so that you become aware of your own faults and deficiencies. For example, when Swami keeps Himself away from you, you feel very sad and think that Swami is not talking to you because He is angry with you. In fact, Swami does not know what anger is. He is the embodiment of love. He is full of love. However, on some rare occasions when He speaks harshly, it might be misconstrued that He is angry

PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 27 DE SEPTIEMBRE 2011

Los sentidos, por naturaleza, son siempre extravertidos. Es por ello que arrastran perpétuamente al ignorante hacia objetos externos. De modo que el aspirante espiritual, dotado de discernimiento y renunciación, deberá poner obstáculos en su senda y suprimir sus exabruptos, del mismo modo en que el auriga sosteniendo el látigo y las riendas, lo hace con los briosos corceles. Los sentidos descontrolados causan grave daño. Por ende, cultiven buenos hábitos antes de la concentración. La concentración deberá tener al Sathwaguna (pureza) como base. La mente ha de ser purificada mediante el tratamiento adecuado del carácter, a través de buenos hábitos. La concentración ha de seguir a este proceso de purificación, no precederlo. Todos los esfuerzos de concentracion sin haber limpiado a la mente no son sino una pérdida de tiempo. Muchos personajes han arruinado sus carreras por aspirar muy temprano a la concentración, sin la disciplina de los buenos hábitos.

The senses are always extrovert by nature. Therefore, they drag the ignorant perpetually towards external objects. So the spiritual aspirant, endowed with discrimination and renunciation, must place obstacles in their outward path and suppress their outbursts, just as the charioteer, wielding the whip and the reins does to the raging steeds. Uncontrolled senses cause great harm. Hence, cultivate good habits before concentration. Concentration must have Sathwa-guna (pure qualities) as its basis. The mind has to be purified by proper treatment of the character through good habits. Concentration has to follow this purification process, not precede it. All efforts for concentration without cleansing the mind are a sheer waste of time. Many great people have ruined their careers by aspiring early for concentration, without the discipline of good habits.

El Ramayana es Mi historia - Bhagawan

Una vez, cuando Bhagavan estaba hablando sobre el Ramayana, él había mencionado ciertos episodios que no fueron escritos por el sabio Valmiki en su poema épico, Srimad Ramayana. 

Esto llevó a Prof. Anil Kumar a preguntar: "Swami, ¿qué es lo que usted está diciendo, que no está ahí, en el libro  Ramayana ?"

Bhagavan dijo entonces, "Valmiki, el sabio, era sólo un biógrafo. Él sabía que era limitado. Pero lo que cuento es mi autobiografía, Mi propia historia. 

Sé mi propia historia mejor que cualquier biógrafo. Por lo tanto, en el Ramayana, no encontrará todos los detalles que menciono, porque lo se  sólo yo , ya que yo soy Rama ".

Ramayana is My Story - Bhagawan

Once when Bhagawan was speaking on the Ramayana, He had mentioned certain episodes which were not written by Sage Valmiki in his epic, Srimad Ramayana. This Prompted Prof. Anil Kumar to ask, “Swami, what is it that You are telling, which is not there in that Ramayana book?”

Bhagawan then said, “Valmiki, the sage, was only a biographer. He knew to a limited extent. But what I tell is My autobiography, My own story. I know My own story better than any biographer. So, in that Ramayana, you don’t find all the details I mention because they are known only to Me, as I am Rama.”

La raíz de la palabra 'Veda' significa 'conocer'. Los Vedas también se conocen como Chandas. Este término significa grato, alegre. También comunica un aspecto importante de los Vedas : amparar, fomentar, promover el bienestar de los humanos enfrascados en la ronda incesante de los asuntos del mundo, y conceder la liberación final. Los humanos están siempre prendidos a las actividades que tienen como propósito la ganancia obtenible. Ellos han de ser modelados como hombres y mujeres correctos. Los Vedas deben proteger de su destrucción y de la perversa tentación de cortejar lo incorrecto, a los amantes del Karma, y de la malvada tentación de seguir a los sentidos propensos al placer, a los inquisidores buscadores del Jnana. A través de su rol como armadura o escudo, derraman bienaventuranza sobre todos los que confían en ellos. Las sagradas ceremonias y rituales que los Vedas exponen confieren alegría y dicha no sólo a los participantes, sino también al mundo entero e incluso a los mundos de más allá.

The root of the word ‘Veda’ means ‘to know’. Vedas are also known as Chandas. This name means pleasant, joyous. It also conveys an important aspect of the Vedas—shielding, fostering, promoting the welfare of humans engaged in the unceasing round of worldly affairs, and conferring the ultimate liberation. Humans are ever caught up in activities pursued with the profit available as the purpose. They have to be moulded as righteous men and women. The Vedas have to shield the Karma-lovers from destruction from the evil temptation to court unrighteousness, and the inquiry-fond Jnana seekers from the evil temptation to pursue the pleasure-bound senses. Through their role as armour or shield, they shower Bliss on everyone who rely on them. The sacred ceremonies and rituals that Vedas expound confer joy and bliss not only on the participants but also on the entire world and even the worlds beyond.

Todos y todo sucede de acuerdo con la voluntad del Señor - Bhagavan

Todo sucede de acuerdo con la voluntad de Dios. No vivamos bajo la ilusión de que cada uno puede  hacer cosas. Si ese fuera el caso, por qué no estamos en condiciones de ejercer control sobre ciertos eventos que tienen lugar en tu vida? 

Hay que entender que todo se mueve según la voluntad divina. Si algo bueno le sucede , lo consideran como la Voluntad de Dios. Si algo malo sucede, aceptar que también es la voluntad de Dios.

Sin duda hay un propósito detrás de todo lo que ocurre, que no podemos comprender. Todo lo que ocurre es por tu propio bien. Por lo tanto, hay que dejar todo a su voluntad. 

Sukhadukhe samekruthwa labhalabhau jayajayau (uno debe permanecer mentalmente  igual,  en la felicidad y en la tristeza,en las ganancia y las pérdidas, en las victorias y las derrotas ). 

Pase lo que pase, debemos considerarlo como un acto de amor divino, y debemos darle la bienvenida de todo corazón.

Each and everything happens as per the will of the Lord - Bhagawan


Everything happens as per the Will of God. Do not be under the delusion that your will alone can make things move. If that be the case, why are you not able to exercise any control over certain events that take place in your life? Understand that everything moves as per the Divine Will. If something good happens to you, consider it as the Will of God. If something bad happens, accept that also as the Will of God.

There is certainly some purpose behind whatever He does, which you cannot comprehend. Whatever He does is for your own good. Hence, leave everything to His Will. Sukhadukhe samekruthwa labhalabhau jayajayau (one should remain equal-minded in happiness and sorrow, gain and loss, victory and defeat). Whatever may happen, consider it as an act of divine love and welcome it wholeheartedly.

PENSAMIENTO DEL DÍA – 25 DE SEPTIEMBRE 2011

Controlen sus sentidos como también su mente. Recuerden que los sentidos nada pueden hacer por sí mismos. No son independientes. Si la mente se controla, también los sentidos. ¡Hay algunos que se someten al mero ascetismo de los sentidos con el objeto de controlar la mente! Ignoran la real disciplina que se requiere. La disciplina real es la destrucción del deseo. Por muy vigilantes que estén los guardias, un ladrón astuto puede robar de mil sorprendentes maneras. Así también, por muy hábilmente que puedan tratar de controlar a los sentidos, la mente los arrastrará hacia su lado y cumplirá sus deseos a través de ellos. Por eso, el aspirante debiera establecer el dominio sobre los sentidos externos. Y entonces, la mente, inmersa en el Vishaya (la sucesión contínua de relaciones mundanas), ha de ser controlada por medio de Shanti (paz), y Vairagya (renunciación). Cuando esto se logra, uno podrá en todo momento experimentar Ananda (bienaventuranza) y visualizar al Atma (alma divina) dentro de uno.

Control your senses as well as the mind. Remember, the senses can do nothing by themselves. They are not independent. If the mind is brought under control, the senses can also be controlled. Some people undergo mere asceticism of the senses in order to control the mind! They are ignorant of the real discipline that is necessary. Real discipline is the destruction of desire. However vigilant warders may be, a clever robber can still steal in a hundred amazing ways. So too, however skillfully you may try to control the senses, the mind will drag them to its side and execute its desires through them. Therefore, the aspirant should establish mastery over the external senses. Then, the mind, immersed in the Vishaya, the continuous succession of worldly relationships, has to be controlled by means of Shanthi (peace) and Vairagya (renunciation). When that is done, one can experience Ananda (spiritual bliss) and visualise the Atma (Divine Self) within at all times.

El Señor atrae al individuo hacia sí mismo - Bhagavan

Dios atrae al individuo hacia sí mismo, ya que la naturaleza de ambos es afín , porque ellos son los mismos. Son como el hierro y el imán. Pero si el hierro está oxidado, cubiertos con capas de oxido, el imán no puede atraerlo. Tienen que eliminar el impedimento, es todo lo que tiene que hacer. Y resplandecerá  su verdadera naturaleza y el Señor les recibirá en su seno. 

Pruebas y tribulaciones son el medio por el cual se lleva a cabo esta limpieza. 

Es por eso que Kunti oró a Krishna: "Danos siempre el dolor, ya que así  nunca te olvidaré."

The Lord draws the Individual towards Himself - Bhagawan

God draws the individual towards Himself; it is the nature of both to have this affinity, for they are the same. They are like the iron and the magnet. But if the iron is rusty covered with layers of dirt, the magnet is unable to attract. Remove the impediment; that is all you have to do. Shine forth in your real nature and the Lord will draw you into His Bosom. Trials and tribulations are the means by which this cleansing is done. That is why Kunthi prayed to Krishna, "Give us always grief, so that we may never forget Thee."

El Atma latente causa al mundo patente. El Ser va detrás del Llegar a Ser y, finalmente, el Llegar a Ser se funde en el Ser. Lo patente es absorbido en lo latente. Como la leche de la vaca, desde la Persona Suprema fluye el poder del Maya o la Relatividad en cuanto Prakrithi (el Cosmos constituido por los cinco elementos), la manifestación patente. El Cosmos es conocido como un compuesto, tal como la leche es un compuesto de crema, requesón y mantequilla, que pueden aislarse por acción de calor y frío, la adición de unas gotas ácidas y el proceso del batido que separa la mantequilla de la leche. Cuando Dios se refleja como Naturaleza, el reflejo se convierte en Maya. Del mismo modo en que la leche se cuaja en yoghurt, Dios se convierte en el mundo de transformación incesante o Maya. Su Voluntad es la que causa que esta irreal multiplicidad se superponga al Uno que es Él. Él es Omnipotente, Omnipresente y el Amo del Maya.

The latent Atma causes the patent world. Being is behind Becoming, and finally, Becoming merges in Being. The patent is absorbed into the latent. As milk from the cow, from the Supreme Person flows the power of Maya or Relativity as the Prakriti (Five-element constituted Cosmos), the patent manifestation. The Cosmos is cognised as a composite, just as milk is a composite of cream, curd, and butter, which can be got out of it by the action of heat and cold, and the addition of sour drops, and the process of churning that separates the butter from the milk. When God is reflected as Nature, the reflection becomes Maya. Just as milk curdles into yoghurt, God becomes the world of incessant transformation, or Maya. His Will causes this unreal multiplicity to be superimposed on the One that He is. He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and the Master of Maya.

See yourself in all; love all as yourself. A dog caught in a room whose walls are mirrors sees in all the myriad reflections, not itself but rivals, competitors, other dogs which must be barked at. So, it tires itself out by jumping on this reflection and that, and when the images also jump, it becomes mad with fury. The wise man, however, sees himself everywhere and is at peace; he is happy that there are so many reflections of himself all around him. That is the attitude you must learn to possess, that will save you from needless bother.

La mente planea y ejecuta innumerables cosas y vagabundea por vastos espacios, ¡todo en un abrir y cerrar de ojos! Opera a una velocidad inimaginable. No obstante, al meditar, no se le debiera permitir que se aparte del objeto de la meditación. Cada vez que se salga por la tangente, deberá ser llevada de regreso a la forma sobre la que se medita. En un comienzo habrá que meditar sobre una sola forma. No debieran cambiar de una a otra a diario. Para concentrarse efectivamente, deberán tener cuidado en no elegir como objeto algo que no le guste a la mente, porque por mucho que se esfuercen, su mente no permanecerá enfocada en ello. Por tanto, en un comienzo elijan algún objeto que sea fuente de alegría. Tampoco, durante la práctica espiritual, debieran ceder ante pensamientos sobre cosas que no les gusten, que causen dolor o que hagan vacilar su fe. Si llegara algún pensamiento de éstos, aprendan a aceptarlos gradualmente como beneficiosos e intenten captar o bueno en vez de lo malo en ellos.

The mind plans and executes innumerable deeds and roams over vast expanses, all in the twinkling of an eye! It operates with unimaginable speed. However, while meditating, the mind should not be allowed to wander away from the object of meditation. Whenever it flies off at a tangent, it must be led back to the form meditated upon. Only one form has to be meditated upon in the beginning. You should not change daily from one to another. To concentrate effectively, you must be careful not to have as the object something your mind does not like, for however hard you may try, your mind will not stay focused on it. Therefore, in the beginning, have some object that is a source of joy. Again, during the spiritual practice, you should not indulge in thoughts about things you do not like, that cause pain, or that shake your faith. If any such thoughts come, learn gradually to welcome them as beneficial and seek to grasp the good in them, instead of the bad.

Los devotos hacen  distinción entre los derechos personales y el servicio a lo Divino. Ven a la adoración, la meditación y similares, como servicio a lo divino,  y lo que hacen por sus familias y amigos como los derechos personales. 

Este tipo de división en las prácticas, es un engaño a Dios. Dios es omnipresente y abarca todas las cosas. Por lo tanto, no hay sentido en hacer una distinción entre un tipo de trabajo y otro.

They look upon worship, meditation and the like as Divine service and what they do for their families and friends as personal duties. This kind of division amounts to practicing a deception on God. God is Omnipresent and subsumes all things. Hence, there is no meaning in making a distinction between one kind of work and another.

PENSAMIENTO DEL DÍA – 22 DE SEPTIEMBRE 2011

El Atma (alma) que es el núcleo de un ser humano, no nace. Puesto que nunca requiere nacer, tampoco sufre la muerte. La muerte le sucede al cuerpo con el que se ha asociado el alma. El engaño de que el cuerpo es lo medular, de que el cuerpo es real, ¡eso es en verdad muerte! El quedar libre de dicho engaño es alcanzar la inmortalidad. Uno puede anular la consciencia de ser uno mismo el cuerpo, llevando a cabo prácticas espirituales profundamente elevadoras e inquiriendo sin temor en la Verdad de uno. Piensen en un fruto de tamarindo. Cuando no ha madurado, es muy difícil separar la cáscara, la pulpa y la semilla. Asimismo, quienes están apegados a los placeres sensoriales y a mimar al cuerpo, no pueden alcanzar la percepción del Atma. Cuando madura el fruto del tamarindo, la cáscara se puede quebrar, la pulpa se separa de la semilla y ésta se puede aislar sin mayor esfuerzo. La indagación y la actividad desinteresada hacen madurar la consciencia y entonces, el Atma, clara y pura, puede ser aislada del cuerpo.

The Atma (soul) that is the core of a human being is not born. Since it does not take birth, it does not meet death. Death happens to the body with which the soul is associated. The delusion that the body is the core, that the body is real, is verily death! To be free from that delusion is to attain immortality. One can negate the consciousness that the body is oneself by practicing deeply elevating spiritual practices and fearlessly inquiring into one’s Truth. Consider the fruit of the tamarind tree. When unripe, it is not easy to separate the rind, the pulp and the seed. So too, those who are attached to sensual desires and to pampering the body, cannot earn the awareness of the Atma (soul). When the tamarind fruit becomes ripe, the rind can be broken off, the pulp gets detached from the seed and the seed can be isolated without much effort. Inquiry and unselfish activity ripen the consciousness and the Atma (soul) can then be isolated from the body, clear and pure.

La devoción y la Tolerancia

La principal cualidad que se espera de un devoto,  es la paciencia. 

¿Qué es Bhakti? Varias personas tienen la noción equivocada de que adorar a algunos ídolos, la observación de ciertos votos y la realización de algunos rituales,  es Bhakti. 

No es tan simple como eso. 

El deber principal de un devoto, especialmente de los Bharatiyas, es la observación de la calidad de la tolerancia en la práctica.

La mente concibe un objeto y juguetea con él un poco, mas pronto lo descarta por otro más atractivo hacia el que corre ¡y por el que comienza a preocuparse! El Sadhaka (aspirante espiritual) tiene que mantenerse siempre alerta frente a esta tendencia de la mente. Cuando la mente vuela de objeto en objeto, debe ser llevada de vuelta a la senda y al objeto correctos. Esta es la adecuada práctica espiritual, la senda de la concentración y la meditación. No obstante, si el aspirante no se empeña por alcanzar esta precisión sino que deja a la mente para que siga sus caprichos por una o la otra cosa a su arbitrio, el proceso merece calificarse como 'meditación de mono', un tipo de meditación que resulta en verdad muy perjudicial para el progreso espiritual. Deberán reorientar a la mente para concentrarse, enfocarse, deslindarse. La concentración les dotará de alegría divina, sabiduría sin medida, visión interior, percepción de las verdades más profundas, un entendimiento más claro y unidad con Dios.

The mind conceives an object and dallies with it a little, but it soon discards it for another more attractive object towards which it flees and about which it begins to worry! The Sadhaka (spiritual aspirant) has to be ever watchful of this tendency of the mind. When the mind flits from object to object, it must be brought back to the right path and the right object. That is the correct spiritual practice, the path of concentration and meditation. If, however, the aspirant does not struggle to achieve this one-pointedness but leaves the mind to itself, following its vagaries from this to that and that to this, the process deserves to be called ‘monkey meditation’, a type of meditation that is indeed very harmful to spiritual progress. You must redirect the mind to concentrate, to focus, to be one-pointed. Concentration endows you with divine joy, wisdom beyond measure, inner vision, insight into the deeper truths, clearer understanding, and oneness with God.

" God does not cause pain to any living being in His creation. All sorrows and difficulties are man-made only. God is the protector of all living beings. He provides peace and happiness to one and all. Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu (May all the people of the world be happy). This is the Will of God. How then can God cause sorrow to a human being? Unable to understand His Divine Will, you accuse God of causing sorrow. If you can fathom the Divine Will, you will realise that everything is only for your good. We are all Embodiments of Bliss. Day-in and day-out, you experience that bliss and share it with others. Then only it will increase.

El cuerpo, los órganos de los sentidos, la mente y el intelecto son los instrumentos con que cuenta un ser humano. Únicamente cuando entienda los secretos de estos instrumentos será capaz de comprender el Principio Atmico. Si no pueden entender la vestimenta que llevan, ¿cómo podrían entender el misterio del Espiritu infinito que reside en ustedes?. El cuerpo es el instrumento básico para todas las acciones en la vida y para la adquisición de todos los conocimientos y capacidades. Debiera ser considerado fundamentalmente como un instrumento para la realización de lo Divino. El apego al cuerpo con miras a los placeres físicos debiera desecharse. Es esencialmente sacro y precioso puesto que es la morada del Atma y debiera ser usado sólo con propósitos sagrados.

Only when one understands the secrets of these instruments will one be able to comprehend the Atmic Principle. The body is the basic instrument for all the actions in life and for the acquisition of all knowledge and skills. It should be regarded primarily as an instrument for the realization of the Divine. Attachment to the body for physical pleasures should be given up. It is essentially sacred and precious for it is the abode of the Atma and should be used only for sacred purposes.

Si usted se plantea la pregunta "¿Dónde está Dios?" , algunas personas dicen: "Él está en mí", señalando a su cuerpo. 

El cuerpo no es permanente. Por lo tanto, esta no es una respuesta adecuada. Cuando digo que la flor está en mi mano, la flor es más pequeño que yo. 

De la misma manera, cuando usted dice que Dios está en usted, usted es más grande que Dios! 

De hecho, todo el mundo está en manos de Dios. Por lo tanto, no es correcto decir que Dios está en ti. Usted está en Dios. Todos están en Dios. El mundo mismo es una manifestación de Dios. 

Esta es la Verdad Trascendental. Esta es la verdad inmutable.

If you pose a question as to "Where is God?" some people will say, "He is in me", pointing to their body. Body is not permanent. Hence, this is not a proper answer. When I say the flower is in My hand, the flower is smaller than Me. In the same manner, when you say God is in you, you are bigger than God! In fact, the whole world is in the hands of God. Hence, it is not proper to say that God is in you. You are in God. All are in God. The world itself is a manifestation of God. This is the Transcendental Truth. This is the changeless truth.

Los impulsos y deseos han de ser suprimidos con el objeto de lograr dominio sobre la mente. Los deseos excitan la mente y la hacen correr hacia los sentidos, tal como el perro que corre detrás de su amo. Emprendan la repetición del Nombre Divino y la meditación. Además, cultiven y desarrollen la voluntad, la memoria y la imaginación por las vías correctas. Para lograr el control sobre la inestabilidad de la mente, es de gran ayuda la meditación. No es suficiente el que un sentido sea conquistado, todos debieran ser dominados, desde todos lados. Por supuesto que esto es una muy dura tarea; pueden sentirse tentados a abandonar la lucha. Mas no se desanimen. Sean pacientes y perseverantes, y el éxito terminará siendo suyo. Sólo que no deben desviarse de la senda de la disciplina, como algunos aspirantes espirituales, tan pronto como sienten que no logran tanto éxito como esperaban. Ese no es el camino hacia la victoria. Perseveren, sean pacientes y logren la victoria final.

Impulses and desires have to be suppressed in order to get mastery over the mind. Desires excite the mind and make it rush towards the senses, as a dog runs behind its master. Undertake the repetition of the Divine Name and meditation. Further, cultivate and develop your will, memory, and imagination along proper lines. To gain control over the unsteadiness of the mind, meditation is of great help. It is not enough if one sense is conquered; all should be mastered, from all sides. Of course, this is a very hard task; you might feel like giving up the entire struggle. But never lose heart. Be patient and persevering, and the ultimate success will be yours. Only, you should not, like some spiritual aspirants, stray from the path of discipline as soon as you feel you are not succeeding as much as you hoped. That is not the road to victory. Persevere, be patient, and earn victory in the end.

Uno debe prestar atención no sólo al propio avance y al de su familia y sociedad, sino también al de la gente en general. El hombre debe llevar una vida ejemplar y predicar ideas ennoblecedoras dignas de emulación por todos. No debieran hacerse intentos por menospreciar a la sociedad y beneficiar únicamente a la familia, porque están destinados a fracasar. Uno habrá de ampliar las visiones de paz y prosperidad de todo el género humano, y tratar de contribuir a ellas dentro de los límites de sus capacidades y recursos. Para cuando uno llegue a la vejez, deberá haber descubierto que las alegrías mundanas son triviales y efímeras. Uno deberá estar equipado con el conocimiento superior de la alegría espiritual, conectado con la fuente interna de bienaventuranza. Su corazón deberá haberse suavizado gracias a las experiencias y uno debiera empeñarse por promover el progreso de todos los seres sin distinción alguna. One must pay attention not only to one’s own advancement and that of one’s family and society, but also to the advancement of the people in general. Man has to live an exemplary life and hold forth elevating ideals worth emulation by everyone. No attempt should be made to belittle the society and benefit only the family, for it is bound to fail. One must have wider visions of the peace and prosperity of all mankind, and try to contribute to both, within the limits of one’s capacity and resources. By the time one reaches old age, one must have discovered that the worldly joys are trivial and fleeting. One must be equipped with the higher knowledge of spiritual joy by delving into the inner spring of bliss. One’s heart must have softened through one’s experiences and one should strive to promote the progress of all beings without any distinction. One must also be eager to share with others the wisdom gleaned from one’s vast experience.

Man's joys and sorrows, happiness or misery are not dependent on Time. They are based on man's actions. Time has no relations or friends. Time is not subordinate to anyone. All are subject to Time. Hence, if one has to realize the Divine, who is the Lord of Time, one has to carry out His injunctions. God looks with love only at such a person.

PENSAMIENTO DEL DIA – 17 DE SEPTIEMBRE 2011

La juventud debiera compartir con la sociedad los medios y medidas para su progreso y seguridad. Debieran constituirse en actores modelo de desempeño para los menores que ellos y guiarles hacia sendas socialmente útiles. Al mismo tiempo, deben seguir los pasos de sus mayores y aprender de ellos lecciones para su propio progreso. La práctica es tan importante para ratificarle a uno en la sabiduría, como lo es la lectura respecto de la ratificación en el conocimiento. Junto con el conocimiento, los jóvenes han de cultivar las buenas cualidades de humildad, reverencia, devoción a Dios y firme fe. Deben dedicarse a las buenas obras y disfrutarlas por la sola alegría que confieren. Junto con el ganar riqueza y el compromiso en el mejoramiento de la sociedad, debe prestarse atención al fomento y la preservación de virtudes y a la observancia de los códigos morales. Debieran darse pasos hacia la mejora de la correcta conducta y el Sadhana (prácticas espirituales) de uno. Habrán de ser purificados todos los niveles de consciencia para orientarlos luego hacia tareas virtuosas.

Youth should share with society the means and measures for its progress and security. They must be ideal role models to those younger than them and guide them into socially useful paths. At the same time, they must follow the footsteps of their elders and learn from them lessons for their own advancement. Practice is as important for confirming one in wisdom, as reading for confirming one in knowledge. Alongside of knowledge, youth have to cultivate the good qualities of humility, reverence, devotion to God and steadfast faith. They have to engage in good works and enjoy them for the sheer elation they confer. Along with the earning of wealth and involvement in the improvement of society, attention must be paid to the promotion and preservation of virtues and to the observance of moral codes. Steps should be taken for improving one’s righteous behaviour and Sadhana (spiritual practices). All levels of consciousness have to be purified and then directed to holy tasks.

Se ha dicho, "El amor es Dios. El amor impregna el cosmos." Por lo tanto, no se debe ver el mundo desde un punto de vista mundano. Debe ser visto a través de los ojos del amor.

El buscar la alabanza y evitar la crítica son impulsos impuros. El mundo es un nido de cuervos; algunos graznan elogiando, otros graznan mofándose. Pero ustedes debieran estar fuera del alcance de ambos. No tomen en serio las loas. Sólo entonces quedarán libres y gozarán de real felicidad. Cada uno ama a su propia religión, su lugar natal y a sí mismo; ama sus propias formas de culto, ritos y ceremonias. Este amor asume la forma de elogio de su propio credo y de crítica a la fe de otros. Aunque todo esto se refiere a la relación de uno con Dios, dichos impulsos son impuros y deben clasificarse como tales. Sean precavidos frente a ellos. Dichas actitudes ruines, saturadas de ignorancia, han de ser eliminadas por medio de la repetición del nombre y la meditación, que llenan el corazón de una amplia y universal sabiduría Atmica. Entonces, los impulsos serán transformados y transmutados en impulsos santos, y se desvanecerán.

Seeking praise and avoiding blame are impure impulses. The world is a nest of crows; some caw in praise, some caw in derision. But you should be above the reach of praise and blame. Make light of praise. Then only can you be free and enjoy real happiness. Everyone loves his own religion, his own native place and himself; he loves his own methods of worship and forms and ceremonies. This love takes the form of praise of one’s own creed and blame of the other’s faith. Though all this is related to one’s relationship with God, such impulses are and must be classed under impure impulses. Be wary of these in you. Such mean attitudes, saturated with ignorance, have to be removed by repetition of the name and meditation that fill the heart with broad and universal Atmic wisdom. Then the impulses will be transformed and transmuted into holy impulses and will vanish.

¿Qué es el verdadero Dharma?

Mientras Kamsa estuvo vivo, él utiliza  los demonios para luchar contra Krishna. Kamsa tenia dos mujeres cuyo padre( sugro) era un poderoso rey. Una vez que Kamsa fue asesinado, su suegro trató de librar una guerra contra Krishna. Las pastoras estaban preocupadas, "¿Hasta cuándo vamos a sufrir estas pruebas?",  le preguntaron a Krishna. Él dijo que no les de pánico y las apaciguó diciendo que "traten de entender las competencias y potencialidades. Esta noche dormirían en Repalle y mañana por la mañana verán por si mismas lo que ocurrirá." Cuando se despertaron la mañana siguiente se encontraron en Dvaraka. ¿Dónde estaban y como viajaron de Repalle Dvaraka? A una distancia de 1000 millas  ..

De esta manera, Krishna podría cambiar una aldea en otra. Dios puede hacer cualquier cosa. Él puede ir a cualquier parte. Y puede cambiar todo. No les dé lugar a dudas. Quien duda de la divinidad, sin duda será condenado. Desarrollen una fe firme y sigan el mandato divino. El verdadero Dharma se encuentra en seguir el mandato divino. Al seguir a Dios, El nos bendice con toda la bondad y los buenos augurios.

Sai Ram - What is True Dharma?


So long as Kamsa was alive, he used to send demons to fight with Krishna. Kamsa had two wives whose father was a mighty king. Once Kamsa was killed, his father-in-law tried to wage a war against Krishna. The Gopikas were worried, "How long are we to suffer these ordeals?" they asked Krishna. He told them not to panic and pacified them saying "Try to understand My powers and potentialities. Tonight you sleep in Repalle and tomorrow morning see for yourself where you will be." When they woke up next morning they found themselves in Dvaraka. Where was Repalle and where was Dvaraka? A distance of 1000 miles separated them..

In this manner Krishna could change one village into the other. God can do anything. He can go anywhere. He can change anything. Do not give room for doubts. One who doubts Divinity will certainly be doomed. Develop unwavering faith and follow the Divine command. True Dharma lies in following the Divine command. When you follow God you will be blessed with all goodness and auspiciousness.

El Sí Mismo Divino no tiene entrada ni salida, manos ni pies, órganos ni miembros, imperfecciones ni manchas. Es lo más pequeño de lo pequeño y lo más grande de lo grande. Al igual que el espacio, está por doquier. Lo es todo y, por ende, está libre de 'yo' y 'mío'. Es consciencia; no guarda afinidad con la congoja ni la ilusión engañosa. Es Paramananda, el Supremo éxtasis eterno. Es el núcleo, el corazón de todos los seres. Es la percepción consciente en todos. Es lo mismo que el sol que carece de sentido del ego, de posesión o propiedad, así como de voluntad, necesidad o deseo. Por su presencia misma desaparece la oscuridad y la luz envuelve al mundo. Es así que el Sol también es llamado el Iluminador. Mas el sol no lo hace conscientemente, como si fuera su deber. El Atma tampoco tiene obligación ni aplicación. Si se pregunta como el Atma se vuelve un "hacedor", la respuesta es -- ¿es un hacedor el imán, simplemente porque se mueve la aguja que está en su cercanía?

The Divine Self has no entry or exit, no hands and feet, no organs and limbs, no blot or blemish. It is the tiniest among the tiny, the biggest among the big. Like space, it is everywhere. It is all and so it is free from “I” and “mine.” It is consciousness; it has no affinity with distress or delusion. It is Paramananda, Supreme everlasting ecstasy. It is the core, the heart of all beings. It is the awareness in all. It is just like the sun which has no ego-sense or a sense of possession and property, and no will or want or wish. By its very presence, darkness disappears and light envelopes the world. So, Sun is also called the Enlightener. But sun is not consciously doing so, as if it is duty bound. The Atma too has neither obligation nor application. If asked how the Atma becomes a “doer,” the reply is—is the magnet a “doer,” simply because the needle which is in its neighbourhood moves?

El Señor será El guía de quien lo instala como su Sarathi (coductor)- Bhagavan


Sabio Vyasa paso justo cuando Krishna estaba lavando los caballos del carro de Arjun,a en el agua del río Yamuna, y derramó una lágrima, pensando en el deber que el Señor le ha impuesto a sí mism, con el fin de orientar correctamente al hombre. Krishna desempeñó el papel de siervo de Arjuna, para  que el hombre puede saber cómo servir y! Krishna era el siervo de vacas y terneros, incluso!

Cuando era sólo un niño, su madre le propuso poner zapatos en sus pies pequeños, para evitar que el duro suelo de la pradera espinosa, pudiera  lesionar sus pies de loto. Krishna no quiso saber nada con ello, Él respondió: "Yo voy todos los días detrás de las vacas y los terneros, a los pastos lejanos, con el fin de atenderlos: yo soy su siervo ¿Cómo puede el siervo ir calzado antes  sus amos, cuando no están herrados. , ni llevan  zapatos? "

El Señor será El  guía de quien lo instala como su Sarathi (conductor). No se considera una posición inferior. Él es el Sanathana Sarathi (eterno contuctor), vendría a ser el Sarathi (conductor) de todos. Él es el Señor para todos aquellos que buscan un Maestro, un apoyo. El Atma es el Maestro en cada uno, y Krishna es el "Atma Universal" personificado.

The Lord will be the Guide of whoever installs Him as his Sarathi - Bhagawan


Sage Vyasa happened to pass by when Krishna was washing the horses of Arjuna's chariot in the water of the Yamuna; he shed a tear, thinking about the duty that the Lord has imposed on Himself in order to guide man aright. Krishna played the role of servant to Arjuna, so that man may know how to serve and thereby rise to sovereignty! Krishna was the servant of even cows and calves! 

When just a boy, His mother proposed to have shoes for His tiny feet, lest the hard thorny ground of the pasture might injure His lotus feet. Krishna would have none of it; He replied, "I go daily behind the cows and calves to the distant pasture, in order to tend them; I am their servant. How can the servant go shod before his masters, when they are not shod, himself wearing shoes?"

The Lord will be the Guide of whoever installs Him as his Sarathi. He will not consider that position inferior. He is the Sanathana Sarathi, come to be the Sarathi of all. He is the Lord for all who seek a Master, a support. The Atma is the Master in every one; and Krishna is the "Universal Atma" personified.
